Ten millennia of hepatitis B virus evolution

Hepatitis B virus (HBV) has been infecting humans for millennia and remains a global health problem, but its past diversity and dispersal routes are largely unknown. We generated HBV genomic data from 137 Eurasians and Native Americans dated between ~10,500 and ~400 years ago. We date the most recent common ancestor of all HBV lineages to between ~20,000 and 12,000 years ago, with the virus present in European and South American hunter-gatherers during the early Holocene. Our work presented in this thesis focuses on the design, testing and implementation of monolithics CMOS image smart sensors : The principle, performance and limitations. The hardware implementation of a vision smart system is the central link. HISIC is High Speed Image Capture with processing at pixel level. An experimental platform for instrumentation and evaluation of retina operators was conducted during this thesis. SPARQL vaicājumvaloda, kas ir oficiāla vaicājumvaloda RDF datiem, ir pietiekami komplicēta, lai to varētu izmantot visi lietotāji, ieskaitot ne-IT speciālistus. Vizuālie vaicājumu uzdošanas rīki ļauj lietotājam veidot vaicājumu vizuālajā formā un atrisina šo problēmu, bet pieejamo rīku skaits nav liels, un to izteiksmes spēja būtiski atpaliek no pilnās tekstuālās vaicājumu valodas iespējām. In this paper we study some archaeological materials found in the Roman site of El Plano (Castellón). Although today is almost entirely destroyed by agricultural work, some of the pieces studied said they were equipped with thermal baths, so it should be a settlement of some importance. Moreover ceramics collected allows occupation dating from the I to IV century AD. This is the first Roman site that has been studied in the district of Alto Mijares.

In France, when we speak about the animal associated to celtic people, everybody thinks and mentions wildboar. This topic meanly emerged from XIXe historiography, but Archaeozoology shows that this animal is very rare in every kinds of sites (settelments, shrines or cemeteries). In other hand, the excavations of these sites give a great amount of pig bones, this animal is in fact one of the more important in celtic husbandry and meat production. The aim of this paper is to illustrate the difference between historiographic and archaeological evidences.

Se analizan las piezas de hueso, asta y marfil del yacimiento ibérico de Covalta desde un punto de vista tipológico, tecnológico y funcional. Se han podido documentar las distintas fases del proceso de producción de objetos terminados sobre hueso y asta, lo que nos permite señalar la existencia de un taller de fabricación de piezas sobre estas dos materias primas dentro del poblado.
