This paper aims to identify the presence or absence of a connection between some factors that influence the evolution of tax revenue in the EU and to quantify its intensity using Pearson correlation coefficient. Non-stationary dynamo and magnetospheric accretion processes of the classical T Tauri star V2129 Oph

We report here the first results of a multiwavelength campaign focussing on magnetospheric accretion processes of the classical T Tauri star V2129 Oph. In this paper, we present spectropolarimetric observations collected in 2009 July with ESPaDOnS at the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope and contemporaneous photometry secured with the SMARTS facility. Chandra study of the eclipsing M dwarf binary, YY Gem

The eclipsing M dwarf binary system, YY Gem, was observed using Chandra covering 140 ks (2Prot) in total, split into two even exposures separated by 0.76 d (0.94 Prot). The system was extremely active: three energetic flares were observed over the course of these observations. The flaring and non-flaring states of the system are analysed in this paper. The activity level increased between the first and second observations even during the quiescent (non-flaring) phases. An analysis of the dynamics of the X-ray-emitting plasma suggests that both components are significantly active. Maģistra darbs Teksta-attēla sakars Vācijas plakātā Veimāras republikā rakstīts ar mērķi izpētīt plakāta saturu un teksta-attēla savstarpējo sakaru Veimāras republikas vācu politiska plakata piemērā, lai secināt, kāda loma esot bijusi politiskajām aģitācijas plakātam Veimāras Republikas vēsturiskajā kontekstā. Pētījumā ir izmantotas dažādas metodes, tajā starpā vesturiskās analīzes un pāra salīdzinājuma metodes. Paralēli ar plakāta saturu bija izpētītas arī tā funkcijas: vizuālā reklāma un ietekme uz masām, t.i. masu apziņu manipulācija ar politiskas aģitācijas palīdzību. Pētījumā ir izmantota grāmatu formāta un internetā atrodamā nozares literatūra un ilustrācijas.

Sparse nonnegative tensor decomposition using proximal algorithm and inexact block coordinate descent scheme

Nonnegative tensor decomposition is a versatile tool for multiway data analysis, by which the extracted components are nonnegative and usually sparse. Nevertheless, the sparsity is only a side effect and cannot be explicitly controlled without additional regularization. In this paper, we investigated the nonnegative CANDECOMP/PARAFAC (NCP) decomposition with the sparse regularization item using l1-norm (sparse NCP). When high sparsity is imposed, the factor matrices will contain more zero components and will not be of full column rank.
