Understanding a Cartesian graph using the motion sensor

This paper shows the experimental results of a didactical activity conducted using the motion sensor. This MBL-tool (Microcomputers-Based Laboratory) allows to study rectilinear motion of bodies moving in front of it. In a fixed time interval the motion sensor reveals the distance of bodies from it and transmits the measures to a computer that visualizes the data in tabular and Cartesian representations. This research corroborates several works about the use of MBL-tools, according to which the use of the motion sensor allows the students to read, understand and produce kinematics graphs. This essay presents the initial hypothesis of the diversity of cases shown by Lope de Vega’s theatre, that multiply perspectives and different endings from the same basic types of conflicts and designs, and tries to verify them with contemporary thought. Reflections on the significance of substratum and superstratum in the genesis and evolution of Catalan. The author considers how the recourse to the pre-Roman susbtratum in the etymological interpretation or in the historical and critical grammar has been carried to excess both by those absolutely against it and by those who take it as an all-explaining panacea. He also points out that, conversely to the interest in substratum, the Germanic superstratum has not received the attention it deserves in the genesis of Catalan because of various prejudices, some of them of an ideological kind.

En el marc de l’"Atles Multimèdia de Prosòdia de l’Espai Romànic", el grup AMPERCAT desenvolupa des de la Universitat de Barcelona i des de l’any 2003, l’estudi de la variació dialectal de la prosòdia del català i del castellà en el domini lingüístic del català. Aquest treball constitueix una síntesi dels resultats principals trobats fins al dia d’avui en la majoria de punts estudiats de la nostra llengua pel que fa a l’entonació. En el diasistema oriental presentem els resultats de frases declaratives i interrogatives absolutes neutres (amb dues formulacions) a Barcelona, Girona, l’Alguer i Maó.
