Teachers’ Knowledge Regarding Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD): A Systematic Review

The increasing number of students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in mainstream education environments require teachers to know how to identify their needs, being capable to adapt their education processes and make their inclusion easier. The purpose of this study is to conduct a systematic review about teachers’ knowledge of ASD, including teachers from any stage and specialization. The research has been conducted from four databases (Web of Science, Scopus, PsycInfo and Google Scholar) during the period of 2015–2020. In total, 25 articles were analyzed. Impact of phosphate fertilization and arboreal mycorrhization on the development of micropropagated walnut rootstocks

This phD is part of the CASDAR MycoAgra project. The aim of the PhD is to understand mycorrhiza mechanisms in an agroforestry integrated culture system between walnut tree and corn culture; and to found out mycorrhiza impact on the global production. To identify which cultivation practices permit the best mycorrhiza fungi development, our study is organized in two axes of work: - We first want to know the impact of interculture on the common mycorrhizal network. - And the impact of nitrogen content in the soil on the common mycorrhizal network To the end, we expect to purpose to farmers crop itineraries that used as less as we can synthetic fertilizers, through alternative system.

In this study, twelve young students on the autism spectrum were interviewed on preparation for working life, employment guidance, the challenges and strengths of the autism spectrum, and suitable teaching methods. Interviews were supported by a structured and illustrated questionnaire. The data were analysed using key statistics. The results showed that, from the students’ perspective, the most important issues in preparation for work are familiarisation with different jobs, guidance in searching for a suitable job, evaluation of the suitability of the working environment, integration of occupational safety into work skills, and acquiring conversational skills in the workplace. Is the ADA/EASD algorithm for the management of type 2 diabetes (January 2009) based on evidence or opinion? A critical analysis

The ADA and the EASD recently published a consensus statement for the medical management of hyperglycaemia in patients with type 2 diabetes. The authors advocate initial treatment with metformin monotherapy and lifestyle modification, followed by addition of basal insulin or a sulfonylurea if glycaemic goals are not met (tier 1 recommendations). All other glucose-lowering therapies are relegated to a secondary (tier 2) status and only recommended for selected clinical settings.
