Sustainable Recycling of Insoluble Rust Waste for the Synthesis of Iron-Containing Perovskite-Type Catalysts

Insoluble rust waste from the scraping of rusted iron-containing materials represents a cheap, eco-friendly, and available source of iron. LaFeO3 perovskite-type powders were successfully prepared by solution combustion synthesis using rust waste from an electricity transmission tower manufacturer. Solution combustion synthesis enabled introduction of this insoluble iron precursor directly into the final product, bypassing complex extraction procedures. Catalytic activity in the propylene oxidation of the waste-derived LaFeO3 with stoichiometric Fe/La ratio was almost identical to the commercial iron nitrate-derived LaFeO3 , thus demonstrating the viability of this recycling solution. Riformati di Petralia Sottana, centro delle alte Madonie. Si tratta di gioielli, suppellettili liturgiche, oggetti preziosi di uso profano, coralli, paramenti sacri, tessuti, statue lignee, intagli, maioliche e tappeti realizzati dal XI al XIX secolo. Objective To determine whether pulsed Doppler examination of the ductus venosus in rat fetuses could damage exposed tissue. Methods On gestational day 18, the livers of a mean of approximately five fetuses per mother (n = 5.14, SD = 1.6), in a cohort of 35 pregnant female rats, were exposed individually to pulsed Doppler and these were considered the 'exposed group'. The remaining fetuses in each pregnant rat (n = 5.16, SD = 2.1) formed the 'control group'. We tested for 600, 300, 60, 20, 15, 10 and 3 s of exposure of the fetal ductus venosus and the damage was evaluated measuring a cell death index of apoptotic activity at 7 h post-exposure (n = 16). Por su parte, el arsénico (As) es un tóxico para el ser humano, siendo su forma inorgánica (iAs) la considerada más tóxica. La principal vía de exposición a ambos compuestos en población general es a través de la dieta. Una vez es absorbido, el iAs es biotransformado en ácido monometilarsónico (MMA) y ácido dimetilarsínico (DMA). Electrochemical systems span a wide range of timescales, and several recent works have put forth the idea that the reaction environment should remain frozen and out of equilibrium during electrochemical electron or proton transfer reactions. Furthermore, simplified treatments of the electrochemical interface model the solvent and ions as frozen molecules. El present treball estudia el primer milacre vicentí de què es té constància que va ser imprés: La font de Llíria. Editat anònim a València, el 1822, per primera vegada, és una mostra del teatre popular i de carrer del segle XIX i, a més de ser reeditat en diferents ocasions, arribà a inspirar altres autors posteriors. The present work studies the first trext printed wich is considered a milacre (dramatic piece about Saint Vincent Ferrer). La font de Lliria was published anonymously in Valencia, in 1822, for the first time, and it is a sample of popular theater of the nineteenth century. It has been reedited on several occasions, and it has come to inspire later authors.
