The relationship between personalities and self-report positive driving behavior in a Chinese sample.

Driving behaviors play an important role in accident involvement. Concretely speaking, aberrant driving behaviors would cause more accidents, and oppositely positive driving behaviors would promote to build safety traffic environment. The main goals of this study were to explore the positive driving behavior and its relationship with personality in a Chinese sample. A total of 421 licensed drivers (286 male and 135 female) from Beijing, China completed the Positive Driver Behavior Scale (PDBS), the Driver Behavior Questionnaire (DBQ), the Dula Dangerous Driving Index (DDDI) and the Big Five Inventory (BFI) on a voluntary and anonymous basis. [EN] Reliability is of fundamental importance for the performance of secondary networks in cognitive radio networks (CRNs). To date, most studies have focused on predicting reliability parameters based on prior statistics of traffic patterns from user behavior. In this paper, we define a few reliability metrics for channel access in multichannel CRNs that are analogous to the concepts of reliability and availability in classical dependability theory. Optimal Buffer Resource Allocation in Wireless Caching Networks

Wireless caching systems have been exhaustively investigated in recent years. Due to limited buffer capacity, and unbalanced arrival and service rates, the backlogs may exist in the caching node and even cause buffer overflow. In this paper, we first investigate the relationship among backlogs, buffer capacity, data arrival rate and service rate, utilizing the martingale theory which is flexible in handling any arrival and service processes. Cross-Technology WiFi/ZigBee Communications: Dealing With Channel Insertions and Deletions

In this letter, we show how cross-technology interference can be exploited to set up a low-rate bidirectional communication channel between heterogeneous WiFi and ZigBee networks. Because of the environment noise and receivers' implementation, the cross-technology channel can be severely affected by insertions and deletions of symbols, whose effects need to be taken into account by the coding scheme and communication protocol.
