Purpose: The purpose of the article is to present 8 new cases of metastatic tumors occurring in the jawbones, their clinical features , diagnostic workup and management. Patients and methods: The records of 8 patients with metastatic jaw lesions were reviewd. Demographic data, presenting symptoms, primary tumor site, radiographic findings, bone scintigraphy , histopathology and clinical management were analyzed. Results: The patients , ranged in age from 44 to 80 years, with a mean of 64.5 years. Przedmiotem przeprowadzonej analizy były cechy strukturalne wybranych dwupodstawionych (w pozycji orto, meta i para) pochodnych nitrobenzenu. Związki te mają duże znaczenie technologiczne, m.in. w produkcji chemikaliów, leków, materiałów wybuchowych oraz nawozów. W Cambridge Structural Database (CSD) zdeponowanych jest ponad 38 000 struktur krystalicznych nitrozwiązków, wśród których największy udział posiadają związki zawierające fragment nitrobenzenowy. Traditionally, intimate-partner violence has been considered a special type of crime that occurs behind closed doors, with different characteristics from street-level crime. The aim of this study is to analyze the spatial overlap of police calls reporting street-level and behind-closed-doors crime. We analyzed geocoded police calls in the 552 census-block groups of the city of Valencia, Spain, related to street-level crime (N = 26,624) and to intimate-partner violence against women (N = 11,673).
