In this chapter, we analyze cybersecurity weaknesses in three use-cases of real-world cyber-physical systems: transportation (aviation), remote explosives and robotic weapons (fireworks pyrotechnics), and physical security (CCTV). The digitalization, interconnection, and IoT-nature of cyber-physical systems make them attractive targets. It is crucial to ensure that such systems are protected from cyber attacks, and therefore it is equally important to study and understand their major weaknesses. peerReviewed

This study explores the extent to which the issue of special educational and training needs for persons with disabilities is addressed in the education and training policy of Ethiopia, with a specific focus on technical and vocational education and training (TVET). Effect of oil lamination between plasticized starch layers on film properties

International audience; To reduce the hygroscopic character of biodegradable starch-based films, rapeseed oil was incorporated by lamination (starch-oil-starch 3-layers technique). The lipid lamination followed by starch solution casting step induced an emulsion type structure of dried films. Composite films are more opalescent and glossier than fatty free starch films. For all the films, structure is heterogeneous in the cross-section only. Adding fat induced a twice decrease of the tensile strength. By discussing the concept of development itself, authors propose two synthetic indexes relying on estimation of potential: Development Space Value and Development Space Creation Under the weak hypothesis that any successful development improves future possibilities, changes in potential are a good development measure. In their path, authors show how development space is tied with freedom: a shrink in it results mechanically in indexes fall. So, "sustainable" and "economic" become two sides of same piece rather than enemies. Reliable in simulations, the approach is to be tested in real conditions, to verify full data availability and to secure calculating methods.
