Joint transform correlator with spatial code division multiplexing.

A joint transform correlator may suffer from overlapping of the zero diffraction order of the output, which does not contain relevant information, and the correlation peaks that appear in the first diffraction orders if objects are not sufficiently separated. Such overlapping significantly reduces the signal-to-noise ratio of the identification process. We propose a novel approach based on code division multiplexing technique in which the contrast of the identification peaks is significantly enhanced. The article explores the question of "chance" in the European Union Law in the field of the admission of third States citizens and asylum seekers to the territory of the European Union. Le hasard fait son apparition dans le droit de l'Union européenne en matière de d'accès au territoire de l'Union pour les ressortissants des pays tiers, meme pour les demandeurs d'asile ou pour les personnes en besoin de protection. Dans ce contexte, le hasard perd les caractères habituels qui lui sont reconnus par les Etats membres de l'Union pour devenir un instrument de dissuasion au service de la priorité politique de reduire les mouvements migratoires.

Il diritto antitrust nasce negli Stati Uniti come declinazione dei principi di common law in materia di tutela della libertà contrattuale. La sua evoluzione lo distanzia però notevolmente da tale matrice, ma i problemi della definizione dei contenuti contrattuali emergono prepotentemente laddove, come in tema di trattamento del refusal to deal, ragionevolezza delle prestazioni e tutela della concorrenza si intrecciano strettamente. Si analizzano quindi le moderne metodologie proposte per la corretta determinazione del prezzo di accesso ad una risorsa essenziale.

This article presents two algebraic characterizations and two related complete problems for the complexity class DLIN that was introduced in [E. Grandjean, Ann. Math. Artif. Intell., 16 (1996), pp. 183--236]. DLIN is essentially the class of all functions that can be computed in linear time on a Random Access Machine which uses only numbers of linear value during its computations. The algebraic characterizations are in terms of recursion schemes that define unary functions.
