Vulcamera: a program for measuring volcanic SO2 using UV cameras

We report here on Vulcamera, a stand-alone program for the determination of volcanic SO2&nbsp; fluxes using ultraviolet cameras. The code enables field image acquisition and all the required post-processing operations.<br />

Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on selvittää, tarjoavatko yläkoulun 7. luokan oppimateriaalien kielioppitehtävät oppilaille mahdollisuuden uusien sanojen oppimiseen tai omaksumiseen sisällyttämällä kielioppitehtäviin oppilaille entuudestaan tuntemattomia sanoja, vai onko kielioppitehtävien sanasto oppilaille entuudestaan tuttua. Jälkimmäisessä tapauksessa opeteltavan kielioppiasian tärkeys korostuu ja sanaston ja kieliopin erottaminen toisistaan oppimateriaalissa on selvästi nähtävissä. National audience; L'objet de ce travail est de vérifier si la prime payée par les acquéreurs est fonction de leur stratégie. Notre étude empirique porte sur 237 acquisitions d'entreprises évoluant dans des secteurs de haute technologie, cotées au Nasdaq, entre mars 1997 et mars 2003. Nous ne confirmons pas l'hypothèse d'une prime plus faible en cas de diversification internationale ou de diversification des activités.

The proposed project shows the results obtained in the implementation and testing in lacustrine and marine environment of an innovative laterals hydro floating tilting systems control for USV or remote/autonomous surface nautical vehicles. This vehicle is based on a pending patent belonging to Palermo University (Patent Pending RM2012A000209 and RM2012A000209). Active lighting applied to three dimensional reconstruction of specular metallic surfaces by polarization imaging

This thesis deals with a new automated tridimensional inspection system for specular metallic surfaces, based on polarization analysis. We first present an extension of the ‘Shape from Polarization' method for dielectric to metallic surfaces. After being reflected, an unpolarized light wave becomes partially linearly polarized, depending on the surface normal and on the refractive index of the media it impinges on. Hence, by measuring the polarization parameters of the reflected light, the surface normals are computed. Maģistra darba “5-6 gadīgu bērnu komunikatīvās kompetences attīstīšana multikulturālā klasē” galvenais mērķis bija saprast un analizēt, kā bērni dotajā vecuma grupā attīsta savu komunikatīvo kompetenci otrās valodas apguvē, ņemot vērā, ka valodas mācīšanās notiek iegremdēšanās tipa skolā un bērni nāk no dažādiem vidēm. Teorētiskā daļa kalpoja par pamatu komunikatīvās kompetences koncepta saprašanai un kā tā attiecās uz mūsdienu izglītības vidi. Ar savāktās izpratnes par kompleksiem komunikatīvās kompetences elementiem palīdzību kļuva iespējams pieiet 5-6 gadīgo bērnu komunikatīvās kompetences novērtēšanai otrā valodā.
