Representatives of the genus Salamandra occur in Europe, Northern Africa and the Near East. Many local variants are known but species and subspecies status of these is still a matter of dispute. We have analysed samples from locations covering the whole expansion range of Salamandra by sequence analysis of mitochondrial D-loop regions. In addition, we have calibrated the rate of divergence of the D-loop on the basis of geologically dated splits of the closely related genus Euproctus. The purpose of the present study was to examine the effect of different conditioning activities (CAs) on short-term increase in sprint performance. In twelve male sprinters (21.1+2.6 years, 100 m performance: 11.5+0.6 s) their body composition, half squat maximum strength, 100 m sprinting and countermovement jump performances were evaluated. Bakalaura darbs uzrakstīts uz 37 lapaspusēm, satur 10 zīmējumus, 5 tabulas un 18 literatūras avotus. Darba mērķis ir novērtēt redzes asumu un stereoredzi tuvumā un tālumā pacientiem koriģētiem ar brillēm un multifokālajām kontaktlēcām. Mūsu pētījumi parādīja, ka tāluma binokulārais redzes asums visiem pacientiem ir labs – virs 0,95. Tuvuma redzes asums pacientiem koriģētiem ar brillēm ir labāks un pacienti dod priekšroku brillēm. Tuvuma stereoredze noteikta ar Titmusa mušas testu un Titmusa apļu testu pacientiem koriģētiem ar brillēm un kontaktlēcām bija laba. Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt slodzes intensitātes un ilguma, kā arī fiziskās sagatavotības līmeņa un imobilizācijas ietekmi uz citokīnu un citu slodzes izraisītu signālvielu koncentrācijām asinīs. Kopumā 98 jauni, veseli un fiziski aktīvi vīrieši piedalījās 4 dažādos fiziskās slodzes testos. Asins paraugi citokīnu un citu signālvielu noteikšanai tika ņemti pirms, pēc, kā arī slodzes laikā. Rezultāti liecina, ka akūta fiziskā slodze izraisa iekaisuma molekulu koncentrācijas pieaugumu asinīs. Pieaugot slodzes ilgumam un intensitātei, šī organisma atbildes reakcija pastiprinās, savukārt augstāks fiziskās sagatavotības līmenis šo reakciju samazina. Background Adding cyclic short sustained inflations (sigh) to assisted ventilation yields optimizes lung recruitment, decreases heterogeneity and reduces inspiratory effort in patients with acute hypoxemic respiratory failure (AHRF). These findings suggest that adding sigh to pressure support ventilation (PSV) might decrease the risk of lung injury, shorten weaning and improve clinical outcomes. En las universidades peninsulares se refleja este cambio en el arreglo de Quintana de 1836, y, más evidente, a partir de la reforma de Espartero en 1842, donde aparecen ya las nuevas disciplinas, el derecho nuevo. El derecho del antiguo régimen sufre notables transformaciones, para adecuar la legislación a la nueva sociedad de la revolución liberal. Ahora se implanta en las universidades el estudio del derecho patrio, de las constituciones, de los códigos que van apareciendo, y de las leyes especiales administrativas y civiles, hasta la tardía elaboración del código.

Literatūras norāda uz to, ka negatīvā spiediena brūču terapija sekmē ātrāku audu defekta dzīšanu. Šīs terapijas iespējamais blakusefekts var būt organisma proteīnu zudums. Vidējais kopējā proteīna līmenis eksudātā ir 57 g/L, bet albumīna līmenis ir 21 g/L. Terapija specifisks proteīna zudums var tikt aprēķināts reizinot seruma albumīnu ar 0.3. Literatūras datiem atbilstošu olbaltumvielu uzņemšanu, kas sastāda 1.5g/kg/dienā ir attiecīgi jāreizina ar 1.3, rezultātā iegūstot 2.0 g/kg/dienā. Przeprowadzono analizę czynników rokowniczych ostrego zapalenia trzustki (OZT). Dokonano krytycznego przeglądu najważniejszych skali rokowniczych OZT: Apache II, Ransona, BISAP, Sofa, Marshalla. Wskazano na ich ograniczenia, ale i przydatność kliniczną we wczesnej stratyfikacji prognostycznej OZT. W diagnostyce różnicowej należy wyodrębniać etiologię alkoholową i żółciopochodną. Występująca przed zachorowaniem cukrzyca typu 2 i przewlekła choroba nerek znamiennie pogarszają przebieg OZT i powinny być włączone do skali rokowniczych. Wykazano, że obecność cukrzycy z poziomem HBA1C powyżej 6,5% wiąże się ze zwiększoną śmiertelnością wśród chorych na OZT i wydłuża się okres hospitalizacji o 5 d…
