(q,h)-analogue of Newton's binomial formula

In this letter, the (q,h)-analogue of Newton's binomial formula is obtained in the (q,h)-deformed quantum plane which reduces for h=0 to the q-analogue. For (q=1,h=0), this is just the usual one as it should be. Moreover, the h-analogue is recovered for q=1. Some properties of the (q,h)-binomial coefficients are also given. This result will contribute to an introduction of the (q,h)-analogue of the well-known functions, (q,h)-special functions and (q,h)-deformed analysis.

Copper homeostasis influences the circadian clock in Arabidopsis.

Almost every aspect of plant physiology is influenced by diurnal and seasonal environmental cycles which suggests that biochemical oscillations must be a pervasive phenomenon in the underlying molecular organization. The circadian clock is entrained by light and temperature cycles, and controls a wide variety of endogenous processes that enable plants to anticipate the daily periodicity of environmental conditions. Plant surfaces of vegetable crops mediate interactions between chemical footprints of true bugs and their egg parasitoids.

During the host location process, egg parasitoids can eavesdrop on chemical cues released from immature and adult hosts. These indirect host-related cues are highly detectable, but of low reliability because they lead egg parasitoid females to an area where oviposition is likely to occur rather then providing wasps with direct information on the presence of eggs and their location. Gut microbiota disturbance during antibiotic therapy: a multi-omic approach

It is known that the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) microbiota responds to different antibiotics in different ways and that while some antibiotics do not induce disturbances of the community, others drastically influence the richness, diversity, and prevalence of bacterial taxa. AM forming fungi supply land plants with inorganic nutrients and have an enormous impact on terrestrial ecosystems. Where we are onθ13: addendum to ‘Global neutrino data and recent reactor fluxes: status of three-flavor oscillation parameters’

In this addendum to arXiv:1103.0734 we consider the recent results from long-baseline $\nu_\mu\to\nu_e$ searches at the T2K and MINOS experiments and investigate their implications for the mixing angle $\theta_{13}$ and the leptonic Dirac CP phase $\delta$. By combining the $2.5\sigma$ indication for a non-zero value of $\theta_{13}$ coming from T2K data with global neutrino oscillation data we obtain a significance for $\theta_{13} > 0$ of about $3\sigma$ with best fit points $\sin^2\theta_{13} = 0.013(0.016)$ for normal (inverted) neutrino mass ordering. These results depend somewhat on assumptions concerning the analysis of reactor neutrino data.
