Dense solid–liquid off-bottom suspension inside a baffled mechanically stirred tank equipped with a standard Rushton turbine is investigated. Dynamic evolution of the suspension from start-up to steady-state conditions has been determined by both visual experiments and computational fluid dynamics (CFDs). A classical Eulerian–Eulerian multifluid model (MFM) along with the “homogeneous” k–ε turbulence model is adopted to simulate suspension dynamics. The diffusion of small religious works of art in the Mediterranean, in particular the alabaster copies of the fourteenth-century marble sculpture of the Madonna of Trapani, between the second half of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries is very know. Introduction: Carotid sinus syndrome (CSS) is a hypersensitivity of the carotid sinus manifested by atrioventricular sinus bradycardia or decreased arterial pressure of at least 50 mmHg. Triggering factors can be neck movements, shaving of the beard or too-tight collars. CSS can be rarely caused by the presence of malignant or benign masses in the head and neck area. Case Report: A 49 years-old white woman with a laterocervical mass presented recurrent episodes of sinus bradycardia related to head’s rotation. As a result, extensive efforts are currently undertaken using next-generation sequencing (NGS) to generate vast amounts of data regarding the epigenetic regulation of genomes. Abstract Single-ring infiltration experiments carried out in the field, such as the Beerkan runs, allow easy and inexpensive characterization of soil hydraulic properties, and specifically saturated soil hydraulic conductivity, Ks, by maintaining the functional connection of the sampled soil volume with the surrounding soil.
