Abstract In this work we evaluated the in vivo effects of chronic metribuzin exposure at doses that mimic human exposure through diet. Male and female rats were fed a potato diet containing metribuzin at low doses (D1, 1.3 mg/kg or D2, 13 mg/kg) for 3 months. Obtaining information on expectations among dental students regarding their career planning was the main purpose of this observational online survey. The questionnaire was designed with 18 items in five different languages: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Data were collected on nationality, age, sex, country of residence, university attended, semester, expected year of graduation and expectations about future career. The COVID-19 pandemic has become a public health emergency of international concern, which may have affected lifestyle habits and mental health. Based on national health profile assessments, this study investigated perceived changes of lifestyle habits in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and associations between perceived lifestyle changes and mental health in Swedish working adults. The present communication deals with the effect of diazinon (0.042 mg/L) on the energy metabolism of the european eel Anguilla anguilla. Analysis of various parameters such as glycogen, lactate and glucose was made on different eel tissues after 6, 24, 48, 72 and 96 hr of diazinon exposure. Liver and muscle glycogen content decreased significantly (p < 0.05) from 6 to 96 hr pesticide exposure. Mean blood glucose values were elevated significantly after exposure to this sublethal diazinon concentration. Abstract Introduction Ankyloblepharon-ectodermal defects-cleft lip/palate (AEC) syndrome, also known as Hay-Wells syndrome, is a rare genetic syndrome with ectodermal dysplasia. About 100 patients have been reported to date. It is associated to a heterozygous mutation of the tumor protein p63 (TP63) gene, located on chromosome 3q28. Typical clinical manifestations include: filiform ankyloblepharon adnatum (congenital adherence of the eyelids), ectodermal abnormalities (sparse and frizzy hair, skin defects, nail alterations, dental changes and hypohidrosis), and cleft lip/palate.
