Tutkimusaiheena tässä tutkielmassa on vanhassa kirjasuomessa esiintyvä paholaisnimistö. Aihe on perusteltu, sillä vanhan kirjasuomen aikakauden paholaisnimistöä ei ole tutkittu aikaisemmin. Tutkimus selvitti, millaisten vaiheiden kautta kaksi ensimmäistä suomenkielistä Uutta testamenttia on käännetty ja miten paholaista on nimitetty näissä teksteissä. Ensimmäinen Uusi testamentti on Mikael Agricolan kääntämä, ja se on julkaistu vuonna 1548. Toinen teoksista on eri vaiheiden jälkeen painettu vuonna 1642, ja sen viimeistelystä vastasi Eskil Petraeuksen johtama käännöskomitea. Mobile money (MM) is considered a revolutionary phenomenon in the developing world and relies on basic mobile handsets capable of voice and SMS or text. This chapter assesses the potential of mobile phones as a delivery mechanism for financial services in Ghana. Based on the sample of 595 responses collected during the months of September and October, 2016, we investigated various consequences that influence the consumer decision-making process and continuous usage within the mainstream MM or micro-financial services. Periphyton and phytoplankton contribute to the base of lake food webs, and both groups of microalgae are influenced by resources and physical forcing. Spatial variation in light availability interacts with the physical dynamics of the water column to create predictable depth gradients in resources and disturbance that may differentially affect periphyton vs phytoplankton. We characterized the depth distribution of chlorophyll and productivity of periphyton on sediments (epipelon) and phytoplankton in the euphotic zones of 13 oligomesotrophic lakes that span a large size gradient (0.017–32,600 km2 ). In this article I develop the concept of kinekphrasis to designate a particular form of intermediality, speci cally, the verbal representation of cinema or other form of moving image. Kinekphrasis builds upon ekphrasis, the classical rhetorical term that today generally refers to texts about static artworks, such as paintings and statues. Representing the medial complex of cinema, however, sets a distinct sensorial and semiotic challenge to a text and brings about a form of intermediality di erent from the traditional ekphrasis.
