Objective To evaluate the effects of a physical exercise program on days lived at home, the use and costs of healthcare and social services mortality and functional independence among patients with hip fractures. Design Randomized controlled trial with parallel two-group design, consisting of a 12-month intervention and 12-month registry follow-up. Setting Home-based intervention. Recently introduced measures for Economic Policy Uncertainty (EPU) included in the data from 1997 - 2016 have a role in forecasting out-of-sample values for the future real economic activity for both the euro area and the UK economies. The inclusion of EPU measures, either for the US, the UK or for overall European economies, improves the forecasting ability of models based on standard financial market information, especially for the period before the 2008 global crisis. Background: Specific strength training at a high intensity is effective in reducing work related neck/shoulder pain. However, it remains to be documented as to which exercises most specifically target neck and shoulder muscles at high activation level while using simple equipment as e.g., elastic bands. Tutkimusaiheeni valintaan vaikutti keskeisesti se, että joukkorahoitus on todettu toimivaksi monissa luovien alojen projekteissa, mutta sen soveltuvuutta journalismiin ei Suomessa ole tutkittu. Because psychological distress can increase vulnerability to excessive gambling, we investigated its mediating role in these relationships among young people.
