Tässä tutkielmassa käsitellään kirjallisuuskatsauksen keinoin käyttäjäkokemuksen vaikutuksia asiakkaiden ostopäätökseen ja sitouttamiseen verkkokaupassa. Aiheeseen paneudutaan aluksi esittelemällä verkkokaupankäynnin ja käyttäjäkokemuksen kokonaisuudet, jotka lopuksi yhdistetään käsittelemällä käyttäjäkokemuksen vaikutuksia verkkokaupoissa. Tarkastelun kohteena on B2C-verkkokaupankäynti (Business to Consumer). Kaupankäynnin yleistyminen verkossa luo jatkuvasti kovempaa kilpailua kauppiaiden välille. Effect of Stem Snapping on Aspen Timber Assortment Recovery in Hemiboreal Forests

Post-disturbance salvage logging mitigates economic loss after windthrow, and the value of salvaged timber is strongly linked to its quality and dimensions. We studied the occurrence of wind-induced damage of aspen in the hemiboreal forests of Latvia based on data from the National Forest Inventory and additional measurements. Individual tree data from three re-measurement periods were linked to follow a tree condition (live, broken, uprooted) and to link tree characteristics to a respective snag. Prognostic value of PCR, IL-6 and IL-10 serum levels in determining postoperative complications after geriatric surgery in diabetic patients

Background The onset of postoperative septic complications has been associated to serum levels of interleukin (IL) IL-6 and IL-10. [1,2]. We have extrapolated a diabetic group from a previous study to evaluate pre and postoperative profiles of some inflammatory markers (IL-6 , IL-10 and CRP). We related the data obtained to the onset of postoperative complications. Diabetic patients have been selected because of their high rate of post-operative complications, especially surgical wound infection.

Teacher beliefs regarding learning, pedagogy, and the use of technology in higher education

This study examines university teachers’ beliefs about the role of technology in achieving the pedagogical aims of learning within teaching development initiatives at a Finnish university. The initiatives targeted technology adoption in teaching and learning and were enhanced within teacher groups, with support from a university level network program. Thematic interviews were conducted with the members of 11 initiative groups, covering 18 teachers from various disciplines. The qualitative content analysis revealed diverse belief groups.
