Subaerālās atsegšanās notikumu pazīmes un veidojumi devona slāņkopā Latvijā
2015

Scripts for Quality Control of SISAL workbooks
2020
Files needed for Quality Control checks of the SISALworkbook_v12 (Comas-Bru and Harrison, 2019). This includes a Python script (wb_check_v12_compatible.py) for automatic checks and an R script (plot_agemodels_hiatus_v12) for manual checks. Instructions on how to run these scripts are provided in a README_instructions.txt file. See supplementary material of Comas-Bru et al (2020, https://doi.org/10.5194/essd-2020-39) for further information on the checks.

A well-preserved crinoid stem in a building stone (Early Carboniferous, Mississippian) at Maastricht, the Netherlands
2017
An exceptionally well-preserved and long crinoid stem is exposed on a slab of decorative Lower Carboniferous (Mississippian) limestone in front of an opticianʼs in Maastricht-Wyck, the Netherlands. The pluricolumnal is incomplete, but is c. 176.5 mm long by at least 7.0 mm wide and with a broad axial canal. The column is heteromorphic, N3231323. The specimen most likely represents a cladid or monobathrid that was preserved parallel to bedding.
New occurrence of the Ordovician eocrinoid Cardiocystites: Palaeogeographical and palaeoecological implications
2007
10 pages; International audience; Flattened eocrinoids are very rare in the fossil record, notably because of their fragility. Recent investigations in the Anti−Atlas (Morocco) have provided one of the oldest known specimens of Cardiocystites from the Upper Ordovician (early–middle Sandbian). This discovery increases the number of eocrinoid genera known in Morocco. This new material is the fifth published specimen of the genus Cardiocystites. It is well preserved, thus allowing morphological details, such as the location of the anal pyramid and the plane of thecal flattening, to be observed. Palaeoecological reconstruction can be deduced or confirmed from these new details. The respiration …
Use-wear analysis applied in a dissected palimpsest at the Middle Palaeolithic site of El Salt (eastern Iberia): working with lithic tools in a narro…
