Este trabajo estudia la presencia del libro llamado Llibre de la Çuna e Xara, por el que se regían las aljamas musulmanas valencianas durante la Edad Media, en dos bibliotecas valencianas dispares. Una la del noble Ferran Ximénez d’Arenós, señor de Alberic, y la otra de Joan Lopiç, párroco de Silla. En la primera obedece a una mejor ejecución de la jurisdicción civil y criminal entre sus vasallos musulmanes, en la segunda para conseguir una evangelización efectiva de esa población musulmana. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the crucial role of legal science for the practical side of the law, while analyzing in detail the statutes' reform of Bergamo (1331).
