Work has shown that the demosaicing operation is equivalent to the mathematical operation of interpolation, and that optimizing potential lies within the implementation of the anti-imaging filter for the interpolator. Kirurgene må vite hvor blodårene er for å unngå og gjøre skade på pasienten. Metodene som blir brukt til kantdeteksjon i dag er i mange tilfeller ikke gode nok. Arbeidet med å forbedre og automatisere metodene for kantdeteksjon i medisinske bilder er en kontinuerlig prosess. Ultrasounds do not have any known side effects, and it provides the surgeon with real-time imaging. In spite of its advantages, ultrasounds also have some disadvantages. The most obvious is that ultrasound images contain much noise. Another problem is that edges of vital organs may appear diffuse. I de siste årene har det også vært flere alvorlige epidemier blant sauer i Europa. Med dette som utgangspunkt har det blitt lagt fram et forskriftsforslag som sier at eieren skal ha tilsyn til dyrene sine minst en gang i uka.
