Objective: The multidisciplinary Estrogenic Regulation of Muscle Apoptosis (ERMA) study was designed to reveal how hormonal differences over the menopausal stages affect the physiological and psychological functioning of middle-aged women. Suomen on villinnyt oluthuuma. Kauppojen hyllyt notkuvat monipuolisesta oluttarjonnasta, olutseuratoiminta on aktiivista ja pienpanimoja perustetaan maahamme jatkuvasti lisää. Suomalaiset ovat toden teolla löytäneet oluen monipuolisen maailman ja olutharrastuneisuus on yleistynyt. Etnologiassa alkoholikulttuuria ja moderneja juomatapoja on tutkittu hyvin vähän ja olutta harrastuk-sena ei lainkaan. Lähitieteissä alkoholitutkimusta on ollut enemmän, mutta se on ollut pääosin ongelmakeskeistä. Tutkimukseni kautta haluan tuoda esiin olutta harrastavien ihmisten näkökulmaa alkoholitutkimuksen kentällä ja luoda pohjaa tulevalle etnologiselle olutkulttuuritutkimukselle. Abstract Benzalkonium chloride (BAC) is highly abundant in wastewaters due to its wide application in household and industrial products. The aim of this research was to compare the resistance of two genetically related strains, Ogataea polymorpha (wild type) and O. polymorpha cat8Δ (recombinant strain), to enhanced concentrations of BAC (≥ 100 mg/L) in terms of its appearance in wastewaters. The two-electron oxidation of the lithium salts of the heterodichalcogenidoimidodiphosphinate anions [(EPiPr2)(TePiPr2)N]− (1a, E = S; 1b, E = Se) with iodine yields cyclic cations [(EPiPr2)(TePiPr2)N]+ as their iodide salts [(SPiPr2)(TePiPr2)N]I (2a) and [(SePiPr2)(TePiPr2)N]I (2b). The five-membered rings in 2a and 2b both display an elongated E−Te bond as a consequence of an interaction between tellurium and the iodide anion. Tässä pro gradu –tutkielmassa estimoidaan alkoholin kysynnän hinta- ja menojoustot Suomessa vuosina 2001-2015. Alkoholin kysyntää tarkastellaan jaoteltuna sekä vähittäismyyntiin ja anniskeluun että eri juomaryhmiin. Kysynnän hinta- ja menojoustot estimoidaan Deatonin & Muellbauerin (1980a) Almost Ideal Demand System (AIDS) –mallin avulla. Tutkimuksessa huomioidaan mallin muuttujien epästationaarisuus testaamalla sekä epästationaarisuutta että yhteisintegraatiota. Testien perusteella kaikki tutkimuksen mallit voidaan todeta yhteisintegroituneiksi, jolloin alkoholin kysyntää kuvataan pitkän aikavälin tasapainoyhtälöllä ja lyhyen aikavälin virheenkorjausmallilla. Objectives: University students commonly engage in heavy episodic drinking (HED), which contributes to injury risk, deleterious educational outcomes, and economic costs. Identification of the determinants of this risky behaviour may provide formative evidence on which to base effective interventions to curb HED in this population. Drawing from theories of social cognition and dual‐process models, this study tested key hypotheses relating to reasoned and implicit pathways to action for HED in a sample of Australian university students who drink alcohol. Reciprocal relations between past behavior, implicit beliefs, and habits : A cross-lagged panel design

The current study assessed cross-lagged relationships between binge drinking, implicit beliefs, and habit in undergraduate university students ( N = 105). Students completed self-report survey and implicit measures in lab visits 3 months apart. A structural equation model revealed cross-lagged relations between habit and behavior, and some evidence for a reciprocal relationship between implicit beliefs and habit. Implicit beliefs were related to alcohol behavior across time, but no cross-lagged relationship was observed. Bakalaura darba tēma izstrādāta balstoties uz darba pieredzi darbā, kur ir nācies saskarties ar reibumā atvestiem pacientiem. Pētniecības uzdevumi: analizēt literatūru par alkoholu, alkohola ilgstošanas lietošanas gadījumā izraisītajām somatiskajām slimībām, anketas izstrāde praktizējošām internās aprūpes māsām, iegūto datu apkopošana un analīze, secinājumu veikšana. Izvirzītā hipotēze: alkohola atkarīgu pacientu aprūpē vairāk dominē fizioloģisko problēmu risināšanas uzdevumi nekā psihosociālo problēmu risināšanas uzdevumi. Pētniecības instruments: anketa.
