With the development of electrical stimulation technology, traditional transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) technology has been found to have the drawback of not targeting a specific area accurately. Studies have shown that optimizing the number and position of electrodes during electrical stimulation has a very good effect on enhancing brain stimulation accuracy. At present, an increasing number of laboratories have begun to optimize tACS. However, there has been no study summarizing the optimization methods of tACS. Alteration-Induced Volcano Instability at La Soufrière de Guadeloupe (Eastern Caribbean)

International audience; Volcanoes are unstable structures that deform laterally and frequently experience mass wasting events. Hydrothermal alteration is often invoked as a mechanism that contributes significantly to volcano instability. We present a study that combines laboratory experiments, geophysical data, and large-scale numerical modeling to better understand the influence of alteration on volcano stability, using La Soufrière de Guadeloupe (Eastern Caribbean) as a case study. Roczna wydajność instalacji PV zamontowanej na dachu budynku dydaktycznego Uniwersytetu Opolskiego

Celem badań była analiza i ocena sprawności pracy instalacji fotowoltaicznej zamontowanej na dachu budynku dydaktycznego Uniwersytetu Opolskiego mieszczącego się przy ul. Kominka 6 w Opolu. Zakres pracy obejmował ocenę: energetyczną - uzysku energetycznego (ilość wyprodukowanego prądu a położenie geograficzne paneli fotowoltaicznych) i ekologiczną - redukcja emisji szkodliwych substancji niewyemitowanych do aerozolu atmosferycznego z powodu produkcji prądu przez instalację PV, a niedostarczonej przez elektrownię opalaną węglem. Negative frequency-dependence, which favors rare genotypes, promotes the maintenance of genetic variability and is of interest as a potential explanation for genetic differentiation. Density-dependent selection may also promote cyclic changes in frequencies of genotypes. Here we show evidence for both density-dependent and negative frequency-dependent selection on opposite life-history tactics (low or high reproductive effort, RE) in the bank vole (Myodes glareolus). Tutkielmassa tarkastellaan taideteoksen roolia suomalaisessa yhteisötaiteessa saksalaisen kriittisen koulukunnan näkökulmasta. Yhteisötaide on 1990-luvulta alkaen vahvistunut taidemuoto, jossa taiteilija työskentelee yhdessä tietyn ihmisryhmän kanssa. Ensimmäisiä yhteisötaideprojekteja Suomessa toteutettiin 1970-luvulla lähiöissä. 2000-luvulla yhteisötaiteessa on alettu käyttää ilmaisumuotona valokuvaa. Tässä tutkielmassa esimerkkeinä käytetään teoksia Maailman ihanin tyttö, Lempipaikka ja Be your enemy.
