Representations of Certain Banach C*-modules
2004
The possibility of extending the well known Gelfand–Naimark– Segal representation of *-algebras to certain Banach C*-modules is studied. For this aim the notion of modular biweight on a Banach C*-module is introduced. For the particular class of strict pre CQ*-algebras, two different types of representations are investigated.

SOME SPECTRAL PROPERTIES OF MULTIPLIERS ON SEMI-PRIME BANACH ALGEBRAS
1995
Abstract We extend to arbitrary semi-prime Banach algebras some results of spectral theory and Fredholm theory obtained in [1] and [2] for multipliers defined in commutative semi-simple Banach algebras.
Invariance spectrale des algèbres d'opérateurs pseudodifférentiels
2002
We construct and study several algebras of pseudodifferential operators that are closed under holomorphic functional calculus. This leads to a better understanding of the structure of inverses of elliptic pseudodifferential operators on certain non-compact manifolds. It also leads to decay properties for the solutions of these operators. To cite this article: R. Lauter et al., C. R. Acad. Sci. Paris, Ser. I 334 (2002) 1095–1099.
Examples of improjective operators
2000
It has been an open question for some time whether improjective operators are always inessential. Here we give some examples that answer in the negative this question as well as some other related ones, posed in [2, 3, 11, 12]. The description of the examples uses a indecomposable space, constructed by Gowers and Maurey [5], and a characterization of the indecomposable Banach spaces in terms of improjective operators.
Examples of Indexed PIP-Spaces
2009
This chapter is devoted to a detailed analysis of various concrete examples of pip-spaces. We will explore sequence spaces, spaces of measurable functions, and spaces of analytic functions. Some cases have already been presented in Chapters 1 and 2. We will of course not repeat these discussions, except very briefly. In addition, various functional spaces are of great interest in signal processing (amalgam spaces, modulation spaces, Besov spaces, coorbit spaces). These will be studied systematically in a separate chapter (Chapter 8).

Material y Métodos: Estudio experimental, prospectivo, aleatoriza…
Mapping quantitative trait loci affecting biochemical and morphological fruit properties in eggplant (Solanum melongena L.)
2016
Eggplant berries are a source of health-promoting metabolites including antioxidant and nutraceutical compounds, mainly anthocyanins and chlorogenic acid; however, they also contain some anti-nutritional compounds such as steroidal glycoalkaloids (SGA) and saponins, which are responsible for the bitter taste of the flesh and with potential toxic effects on humans. Up to now, Quantitative Trait Loci (QTL) for the metabolic content are far from being characterized in eggplant, thus hampering the application of breeding programs aimed at improving its fruit quality. Here we report on the identification of some QTL for the fruit metabolic content in an F2 intraspecific mapping population of 156…
Chemical partitioning and DNA fingerprinting of some pistachio (Pistacia vera L.) varieties of different geographical origin
2019
The genus Pistacia (Anacardiaceae family) is represented by several species, of which only P. vera L. produces edible seeds (pistachio). Despite the different flavor and taste, a correct identification of pistachio varieties based on the sole phenotypic character is sometimes hard to achieve. Here we used a combination of chemical partitioning and molecular fingerprinting for the unequivocal identification of commercial pistachio seed varieties (Bronte, Kern, Kerman, Larnaka, Mateur and Mawardi) of different geographical origin. The total phenolic content was higher in the variety Bronte followed by Larnaka and Mawardi cultivars. The total anthocyanin content was higher in Bronte and Larnak…
