A cloud based architecture to support Electronic Health Record.

We introduce a novel framework of electronic healthcare enabled by a Cloud platform able to host both Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and implement an innovative model of Electronic Health Record (EHR) that is not only patient-oriented but also supports a better governance of the whole healthcare system. The proposed EHR model adopts the state of the art of the Cloud technologies, being able to join the different clinical data of the patient stored within the HISs and EMRs either placed into a local Data Center or hosted into a Cloud Platform enabling new directions of data analysis.

[Resumen] El objetivo del estudio consistió en analizar los niveles y patrones de actividad física de niñas y niños de educación infantil en dos sesiones de motricidad centradas en el juego libre. Participaron 32 estudiantes, de edades comprendidas entre los 48 y 54 meses y pertenecientes al segundo ciclo de educación infantil, de un colegio público de la Provincia de València, España. Los niveles y patrones de actividad física se determinaron a través de podometría y de un sistema observacional. Real data from manufacturing processes are essential to create useful insights for decision-making. However, acquiring real manufacturing data can be expensive and time consuming. To address this issue, we implement a virtual milling machine model to generate machine monitoring data from process plans. MTConnect is used to report the monitoring data.
