Pētījuma mērķis ir izveidot mācību stundu piemērus modelēšanas kompetences apgūšanai pamatskolā un izpētīt to efektivitāti. Izstrādātie piemēri aprobēti Jūrmalas Alternatīvās skolas 6. klasē. Darbā iegūti secinājumi par to, kas ir būtiskākie priekšnoteikumi, lai skolēni sekmīgi apgūtu matemātiskās modelēšanas kompetenci, kā to iespējams mācību procesa laikā vērtēt, lai uzlabotu mācīšanos.

Vieglo elementu stabilo izotopu masas attiecību masspektrometrijas metodes pielietojums miežu graudu pētījumos. Kobzarevs D. Zinātniskais vadītājs Mg. Chem. Bērtiņš M. Bakalaura darbs 35 lappuses, 10 tabulas, 15 attēli, 29 literatūras avoti, 3 pielikumi. Latviešu valodā. Darbā veikta literatūras analīze par izotopu attiecībām masu spektrometrijā. Pētīti un sagatavoti gan bioloģiskie, gan konvencionālie miežu paraugi. Paraugi tika iegūti no vairākām miežu šķirnēm. Bakalaura darba ietvaros tika analizēti C, N un O izotopu attiecības. Tika novērtēti rezultāti un meklētas likumsakarības par izotopu attiecībām.

Darbs pievērsīsies netiešo zināšanu un intencionalitātes koncepciju salīdzinājumam Maikla Polaņī un Džona Serla darbu kontekstā, parādot dažādās motivācijas un atšķirīgās jēdzienu izpratnes, kas noveda abus domātājus pie līdzīgiem secinājumiem par prāta un ķermeņa attiecībām. Darbā tiks kritiski apskatīta Serla intencionalitātes teorija, kā arī sniegta Polaņī jēdzieniskā ietvara interpretācija, lai pamatotu to, ka Serls pārprot Polaņī, dēvējot viņu par kognitīvistu.

This article examines ideas of morality and health, and connections between moral transgression and disease in both Scottish missionary and Central African thought in the context of the Livingstonia Mission of the Presbyterian Free Church of Scotland in Malawi during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.2 By concentrating on debates, conflicts and co-operation between missionaries and Africans over the key issues of beer drinking and sexual morality, this article explores the emergence of a new ‘moral hygiene’ among African Christian communities in Northern Malawi.

Do bank voles (Myodes glareolus) trapped in live and lethal traps show differences in tick burden?

In studies assessing tick abundance, the use of live traps to capture and euthanize rodent hosts is a commonly used method to determine their burden. However, captive animals can experience debilitating or fatal capture stress as a result prior to collection. An alternative method is the use of lethal traps, but this can potentially lead to tick drop-off between the time of capture and collection. Abstract Tisagenlecleucel (tisa‐cel) is a second‐generation autologous CD19‐targeted chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T‐cell therapy approved for relapsed/refractory (R/R) large B‐cell lymphoma (LBCL). The approval was based on the results of phase II JULIET trial, with a best overall response rate (ORR) and complete response (CR) rate in infused patients of 52% and 40%, respectively. We report outcomes with tisa‐cel in the standard‐of‐care (SOC) setting for R/R LBCL. Recent evidences suggest that insulin delivery to the brain can be an important pharmacological therapy for some neurodegenerative pathologies, including Alzheimer disease (AD).
