The attempt of this essay is to outline the possible relationships between Anceschi’s neo-phenomenological approach and contemporary anthropology of art. In the first part, the accent is on the definition of art, so as it has been set by some relevant anthropologists, whereas the second part focuses on exposition strategies of museums, and their philosophical implications. The aim is that of showing the fecundity of a perspective that revolves in both cases around the idea of relation and its performativity.
