[CA] El present article es centra en la vinculació entre els diversos exemplars de Crist portacreu de Gianfrancesco Maineri i els homònims de Paolo da San Leocadio. A través de diverses comparacions, tractarà d¿explicar-se la gènesi d¿aquest model, aportant, a més, dades que permetran una millor classificació dels exemplars leocadians. Finalment, es realitzen una sèrie de reflexions entorn de l¿hipotètic retorn de San Leocadio a Itàlia (1485-1489) i a la seua possible vinculació amb Maineri.

Pyrrolo[2,3-h]quinolinones: A new ring system with potent photoantiproliferative activity

A new class of compounds, the pyrrolo[2,3-h]quinolin-2-ones, nitrogen isosters of the angular furocoumarin Angelicin, was synthesized with the aim of obtaining new photochemotherapeutic agents with increased antiproliferative activity and lower undesired toxic effects than the lead compound. Two synthetic pathways were approached to allow the isolation both of the dihydroderivatives 10-17 and of the aromatic ring system 23. Compounds 10-17 showed a remarkable phototoxicity and a great UVA dose dependence reaching IC(50) values at submicromolar level. Evaluating the effect of mineralogy and mechanical stability of recycled excavation materials by Los Angeles and micro-Deval test

This paper presents the findings of the mechanical performance of recycled excavation materials (REM). The aim was to document the stable performance of REM and to suggest its suitability for unbound applications. Test operations were performed at different schedules with the Los Angeles (LA) and micro-Deval (MD) test machine. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis was performed to examine the effect of mineralogy on the performance of REM. The results showed that REM showed consistent LA performance, but significant variations were observed in MD values. XRD results showed that up to 20% of chlorite and mica minerals had no influence on the LA performance of REM.

Šis maģistra darbs pēta Losandželosas attēlojumu divos skarbās literatūras žanra romānos. Skarbās literatūras žanrs un lokācijas aspekts ir tēmas, kuram netiek pievērsts pietiekami daudz akadēmiskās uzmanības literatūrzinātnē. Tika analizēti divi literārie darbi – Reimonda Čandlera 1942. gada romāns “Augstais Logs” un Maikla Konelija 2011. gada romāns “Piliens”. Par maģistra darba galveno metodoloģisko ietvaru tika izvēlēta Džeisona Finča “Dziļa lokācijas kritika”. Romānu lokācijas analīze pauda daudz ieskatu Losandželosas sociālās, ģeogrāfiskās un politiskās realitātēs.

Orthodox–Evangelical relationships are dominated by proselytism (at least in Eastern Europe and in the former Soviet Union). This is understood as church conversion practiced through unfair means among people who are already Christians, belonging to so-called “historical churches.” However, beyond it, there is a real potential for cooperation using moral values as a starting point. L’Evangelium Nicodemi è uno degli apocrifi più diffusi nel medioevo occidentale. Il racconto della Passione di Cristo, collegato allo spaccato del Descensus Christi ad inferos, ha avuto un grande successo, testimoniato non solo dall’ampia tradizione manoscritta del vangelo latino ma anche dalle numerose traduzioni volgari di cui fu oggetto, dai rimaneggiamenti e dalle riprese in altri testi. La diffusione dell’Evangelium Nicodemi ha determinato l’introduzione di particolari topoi nell’orizzonte mentale del medioevo europeo.
