The study also examined whether pressures and gradients can be replicated within and between participants’ legs, and between separate compression garment conditions. During passive lengthening, both soleus (SOL) and medial gastrocnemius (MG) H-reflex amplitudes decrease with increasing angular velocity. This study was designed to investigate whether H-reflex amplitude is affected by angular velocity during concentric and eccentric maximal voluntary contraction (MVC). The aim of the present study was to validate this device comparing bone kinematics with arthrometer measurement outcomes. In particular, estimated joint moments are highly sensitive to uncertainties in acceleration data.
