Nesteroīdie pretiekaisuma līdzekļi (NPL) ir vispieprasītākā medikamentu grupa pasaulē. Galvenie iemesli NPL lietošanai ir sāpes, iekaisums un drudzis. Darba mērķis bija salīdzināt NPL pieprasījumu par 2017., 2018. un 2019. gadu, kā arī noskaidrot, kādas ir biežākās blakusparādības, ar kurām šo medikamentu lietošanas laikā sastopas respondenti. Indomethacin is a potent non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with a strong selective inhibitor activity towards cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), an enzyme that is highly overexpressed in various tumour cells, being involved in tumourigenesis. Concomitantly, porphyrins have gained much attention as promising photosensitizers (PSs) for the non-invasive photodynamic therapy (PDT) of cancer.
