Sobre un fondo de duelo y con la preeminencia de los elementos políticos sobre los militares, ¡Presente! reivindicaba el legado del líder de Falange en una clave cercana a la del culto a los muertos que caracterizó a los fascismos europeos, pero en clave sintomáticamente religiosa.

After the patrimonial destruction that took place during the Civil War of 1936-1939 in the city of Cartagena, religious art and especially sacred sculpture, is greatly affected. The artistic expressions that the Passionist entities took to the streets on the days of Holy Week, disappear almost in their entirety, having to start a tremendously costly reconstruction process in order to alleviate the losses suffered. In this paper I want to show, the Antonio Gramsci’s arrangements, Italian Marxist, are very actual analysis of political process and phenomenon, which can be very significant tip and inspiration for the political researchers. The argument of this paper is about a kind of continuity between process of establishing hegemony and notice what the political (beyond the strictly policy). Analyzing this continuity, I want to do some kind of “political science transcription” of Gramsci, which I hope will result in more detailed research. Also I want to show the Gramsci’s profile as a political theoretist.

In the ?barri del mercat?, in the city of Valencia and very close to its Lonja, there is a building complex which is the object of this study. The research, carried out from the simple field of toponymy, to the constructive analysis, lead us to suppose that it is the building of the Valencian trade union of cloth-shearers. It can be seen how the building now camouflaged by other subsequent interventions, corresponds to a type that cannot be related to those usually built in the city of Valencia.
