El Llibre de menescalia de la Societat Castellonenca de Cultura

The library of the Societat Castellonenca de Cultura (Castello de la Plana) keeps a Catalan manuscript on menescalia (veterinary medicine) virtually unknown to the specialists. Here we provide a diplomatic description, a presentation of its content, and particularly a first linguistic analysis. Our study allows us to locate its elaboration in the mid-14th century within the area of Morella, and to attribute it to a paraire or to a merchant. The manuscript is currently in the process of being edited.

The study of archival collections from medieval religious orders has made it possible to locate a second fragment of a medieval Spanish Bible, from the Hieronymian monastery of Santa Maria de la Sisla (Toledo). It is a bifolia from the book of Psalms that belonged to the same codex as the recently identified Ezekiel fragment (=S1). In this article the finding is reported, the liber tradens is described, specifying its meaning and value to ensure monastery rents, the fragments that it transmits are given: part of a bifolia in parchment of the s. Abstract Objective Our aim is evaluate vaccination guidelines that were published by Ministry of Health of Spain and his impact in a mutual injuries work of Spain (FREMAP). Method Is a retrospective observational study of vaccination with tetanus–diphtheria (Td) in adults of mutual injuries of work of Spain (FREMAP) between January 2010 and December 2013. Results We have registered 126,101 injured employees for vaccination; of those have been vaccinated 11,468 (9%). We have not found significant differences in employees with incapacity or no. Abstract The term ‘crisis’ is omnipresent. The current corona virus pandemic is perceived as the most recent example. However, the notion of crisis is increasingly deployed as a signifier of relevance, rather than as an analytical concept. With the expansion of Islam, the patriarchates of Antioch, Jerusalem, and Alexandria were divided from the Byzantine Empire. The Orthodox Christians there still defined themselves as Byzantine Orthodox and began to adapt their liturgical customs by adopting Byzantine liturgical books. When Greek was not understood any longer, they began to translate and copy their liturgical books, thereby creating their own branch of tradition, which is marked by multilingualism, reception of their own Bible tradition as well as the exclusion of “neo-martyrs” from their calendar of saints.
