„Poemat dramatyczny” Teofila Lenartowicza Sędziowie ateńscy (1895), wydany dopiero po śmierci autora, nie tylko powstawał przez kilka lat, lecz także był prawdopodobnie kilka razy pisany od nowa pod różnymi tytułami (m.in. Sokrates). Z niektórych jego wersji zachowały się drukowane fragmenty, inne pozostały w rękopisach. Jedną z redakcji wcześniejszych, nietożsamą z tekstem wydanym na podstawie ostatniego autografu, była wersja przygotowana dla teatru w 1884 roku. Powody rezygnacji z wystawienia nie są dokładnie znane. Fins ara el recull més complet de documentació al·lusiva a la figura de Francesc Eiximenis és el de Jaume Riera i Sans (2010). Un personatge de gran projecció com el menoret havia de deixar una empremta documental forta i el llibre ho corrobora, si més no pel que fa a la relació amb la casa reial. Ara bé, la riquesa de les fonts arxivístiques a la Corona d’Aragó és immensa i és presumible que encara ens en puguem endur més sorpreses. Ací la meua intenció és aportar dues peces més a aquell magnífic repertori editat pel malaguanyat arxiver.
The Historiae Florentini populi by Poggio Bracciolini. Genesis and Fortune of an Alternative History of Florence

During the last years of his life, Poggio Bracciolini (1380-1459), former Apostolic Secretary and Chancellor of Florence, was working on a long text that he characterized, in a letter written in 1458, as lacking a well-defined structure. This was most probably his history of the people of Florence (Historiae Florentini populi, the title given in Jacopo’s dedication copy to Frederick of Montefeltro, Duke of Urbino), revised and published posthumously by Poggio’s son, Jacopo Bracciolini (1442-1478). Contrary to what is often assumed, Poggio’s treatise was not a continuation, nor even a complement, to Leonardo Bruni’s (1370-1444) official history of Florence. It concentrates on the most recent…
