Esošs pētījums studē sievietes tēlu trīs antīkajos romānos: Trojas Romānā, Fīvu Romānā un Enejas Romānā. Tie ir uzrakstīti 12.gadsimtā un skaitās ka stārpnieciskais etaps starp episku dziesmu un kurtuāzu romānu, kur sieviešķu varoņu klātbūtne spēlē svarīgu lomu. Esoša pētījuma mērķis ir sieviešu varoņu semantiska studēšana lai rekonstruētu sievietes prototipisku tēlu literatūrā. Mēs pielietojam izotopijas pieeju lai identificētu korpusa vienības, kas atbilst mūsu pētījuma problemātikai. Pēc tām mēs pakļaujam tās vienības smantiskajai analīzei un pielietojam prototīpa teoriju. Towards Quantifying Non-Photosynthetic Vegetation for Agriculture Using Spaceborne Imaging Spectroscopy

Non-photosynthetic vegetation (NPV) has been identified as priority variable in the context of new spaceborne imaging spectroscopy missions. In this study we provide a first attempt to quantify NPV biomass from these unprecedented data streams to be provided by multiple recently launched or planned instruments. A hybrid workflow is proposed including Gaussian process regression (GPR) trained over radiative transfer model (RTM) simulations and applying active learning strategies. Spray-dried microparticles of a derivative of hyaluronic acid (HA) have been engineered to obtain a controlled aggregation with Human Mesenchymal Stem Cells (hMSCs) into 3D constructs. We demonstrated the utility of chemical functionalization of a native constituent of the extracellular matrix to improve processing performances and to control on stem cell adhesion and differentiation. This study investigated the comparative efficacy of a phonics-based reading program and a language experience approach based literacy program to develop reading skills among Zambian early childhood school learners. The learners (n = 1 986; Grade 2 level; females = 50.1%) took either the phonics-based reading program (n = 1 593) or the alternative language experience approach based program (n = 393). Developing a stable personal identity is considered a more precarious task in today’s society than hitherto. Skilful digital engagement may, however, constitute a valuable asset in necessary identity exploration and commitment. A dual process model to predict adolescents’ screen time and physical activity

OBJECTIVE: Many adolescents report a lack of physical activity (PA) and excess screen time (ST). Psychological theories aiming to understand these behaviours typically focus on predictors of only one behaviour. Yet, behaviour enactment is often a choice between options. This study sought to examine predictors of PA and ST in a single model. Variables were drawn from dual process models, which portray behaviour as the outcome of deliberative and automatic processes.
