The relationship between genetic and linguistic diversification in human populations has been often explored to interpret some specific issues in human history. The Albanian-speaking minorities of Sicily and Southern Italy (Arbereshe) constitute an important portion of the ethnolinguistic variability of Italy. Their linguistic isolation from neighboring Italian populations and their documented migration history, make such minorities particularly effective for investigating the interplay between cultural, geographic and historical factors. Come si vede già dalle prime foto documentali, si è trattato - in primis - di un momento pedagogico, molto empatico e simpatetico come deve essere la scuola quando è un buona scuola. Quelli che hanno partecipato - lo si legge nei loro sguardi - si ricorderanno dell’esperienza. E poi la formula didattica, che traspare chiaramente da tutta la documentazione delle belle immagini, era precisa e opportunamente finalizzata: si capisce che il brief era ben definito e realistico. Ma non rigidamente prescrittivo: c’era tutto lo spazio necessario per l’innovazione e la ricerca, come si conviene a un lavoro universitario.
