Ar Er3+ un Yb3+ aktivētu savienojumu uz Na0,5Bi0,5TiO3 bāzes, luminiscences intensitātes modulācija ar elektrisko lauku

Na0,5Bi0,5TiO3 tiek pētīts kā perspektīvs materiāls svinu saturošu segnetoelektrisko materiālu aizvietošanai, pateicoties tā strukturālajām izmaiņām temperatūras vai elektriskā lauka ietekmē, to var izmantot ar elektrisko lauku vadāmās ierīcēs. Darbā tika pētīta ar Er3+ un Yb3 aktivētu Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 cieto šķīdumu augšup pārveidotās luminiscences intensitātes modulācija, un raksturoti tās iespējamie mehānismi. Paraugu sintēzei, apstrādei, raksturošanai un luminiscences intensitātes modulācijas eksperimentiem tika izmantotas LU Cietvielu fizikas institūtā pieejamās iekārtas. This paper presents a detailed analysis of the use of a novel Harmonic Mitigation algorithm for Cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel Inverter in electrical drives for the transportation field. For this purpose, an enhanced mathematical model of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM), that takes into account simultaneously saturation, cross-coupling, spatial harmonics, and iron loss effects, has been used. Under current diagnostics depression and stress related mood disorders have a higher occurrence in women than men. Little is known of the biological mechanisms contributing to these sex differences and how they may impact potential new therapeutics. Here we examine how DNA methylation contributes to sex specific stress vulnerability in adult animals. Mice of both sexes were exposed to variable stress and given a behavioral test battery to examine stress sensitivity. D vitamīna deficīts ir izplatīts visā pasaulē, jo īpaši Ziemeļu valstīs. D vitamīna deficīts saistīts ar samazināto ultravioleto starojumu. D vitamīns ne tikai uzlabo kaulu veselību, bet arī ir iesaistīts daudzu citu funkciju veikšanā. Darba mērķis bija veikt apkopoto datu analīzi par D vitamīnu saturošu preparātu apriti Sentor Farm Gulbju aptiekā, 2015. gada laikā, kā arī noskaidrot, kādi ir vidējie D vitamīna analīžu rādītāji. A Model for the Study of Sheath Currents in Medium Voltage Cables for Industrial Application

In this paper, the implementation of a simulation model for studying the effect of cross-bonding of metallic sheaths and/or non-magnetic armor of single-core medium voltage cables in the same circuit is discussed. With the use of single-core cables, the resistive losses due to the induced circulating currents in cable sheaths or armors causes an increase of cable temperature that reduces its ampacity. In addition, the risk of electric shock due to induced voltages may be present if a person is exposed to the armor/sheath at the unbounded end. Conscripts and soldiers have to perform their duties in a multistressor environment. During prolonged periods of combat training, fluctuations in strength levels and hormone concentrations have been noted. However, there is limited information regarding the changes in shooting performance and whether changes in strength and hormonal concentrations are correlated with it. This study examined strength levels, shooting performance and hormonal fluctuations during a 3-week combat training period. Possible correlations between the variables were examined and investigated.
