Tarkastelen tutkielmassani ymmärtämisen käsitettä Ludwig Wittgensteinin myöhäisfilosofian pohjalta. Pyrin samalla sekä esittelemään että soveltamaan Wittgensteinin erityislaatuista filosofista menetelmää. Tulkintani mukaan Wittgenstein käsitti filosofian tehtäväksi sen osoittamisen, että filosofiset ongelmat perustuvat virheellisille oletuksille. Tämä osoitetaan tarkastelemalla ongelman kannalta relevanttien käsitteiden ”kielioppia” eli käyttösääntöjä, jotka määräävät niiden merkityksen. Western Australian students' alcohol consumption and expenditure intentions for Schoolies.

In Australia, the immediate post-school period (known as ‘Schoolies’) is associated with heavy drinking and high levels of alcohol-related harm. This study investigated students’ intended alcohol consumption during Schoolies to inform interventions to reduce alcohol-related harm among this group. An online survey was administered to students in their senior year of schooling. Included items related to intended daily alcohol consumption during Schoolies, amount of money intended to be spent on alcohol over the Schoolies period, and past drinking behaviour. Pētījums veltīts historiogrāfijā līdz šim maz aplūkotai tēmai – Latvijas armijas veterinārā dienesta darbībai Latvijas Neatkarības kara laikā (turpmāk Neatkarības karš) un starpkaru perioda posmā, no veterinārā dienesta dibināšanas 1919. gada 29. jūlijā līdz tā likvidācijai 1940. gadā. Mērķis ir raksturot Latvijas armijas veterinārā dienesta nozīmi, uzmanību veltot tā izveidei un darbībai laika posmā no 1919. gada līdz 1940. gadam. Veterinārā dienesta uzdevums bija nodrošināt kvalitatīvu zirgu ārstēšanu, ierīkojot tiem atbilstošas telpas, izdodot instrukcijas par to pareizu kopšanu. Medicīnai attīstoties, tiek radītas jauna veida zāles un uzlabojas iespējas nodrošināt augstas kvalitātes ārstniecības pakalpojumus. Jauna veida zāļu izveide un ieviešana praksē aizņem aptuveni no 10 līdz 15 gadiem. Vienas no šāda veida zālēm, kas tika salīdzinoši nesen un aizvien biežāk tika ieviestas praksē, ir jaunieviestās terapijas zāles. Termins jaunieviestās terapijas zāles un to regulējums Eiropas Savienībā tika ieviests tikai 2007. gadā, papildinot jau esošo zāļu aprites regulējumu Eiropas Savienības un dalībvalstīm nacionālo normatīvo aktu līmenī.
