Here we present a novel computational signal processing approach for comparing two signals of equal length and sampling rate, suitable for application across widely varying areas within the geosciences. By performing a continuous wavelet transform (CWT) followed by Spearman?s rank correlation coefficient analysis, a graphical depiction of links between periodicities present in the two signals is generated via two or three dimensional images. espanolObjetivo: Describir los resultados del tratamiento y complicaciones asi como establecer la relacion de lesiones asociadas y el tiempo hasta la cirugia.Metodos: Estudio retrospectivo de pacientes con fisis abiertas intervenidos mediante cirugia de reconstruccion del ligamento cruzado anterior entre Junio de 2010 y Junio de 2018. The atomic mass of the electron is a key parameter for fundamental physics. A precise determination is a challenge because the mass is so low. We consider thermal deformations of transversally inhomogenous elastic plates. Thin plate equations are derived as limits of full three-dimensional models both in the linear was well as in the non-linear case with appropriate convergence proofs. In the non-linear case also the corresponding von Karman equations are formulated. Its is obtained that the inhomogeneity leads to the loss of some symmetry properties at the von Karman equations

Indirect evaluation of pit and fissure sealants: a 3D-based method validation

Background The aim of the present study was to compare indirect methods to assess the clinical performance of pit and fissure sealants and validate the use of 3D scanners. Material and Methods Sample consisted of 58 plaster models of upper and lower first permanent molars, sealed with resin sealants, as well as photographs obtained during the 18-month follow-up. The interaction of several beta-carbolines with specific [3H]-flunitrazepam binding to benzodiazepine receptors in rat brain membranes was investigated. Out of the investigated compounds, harmane and norharmane were the most potent inhibitors of specific [3H]-flunitrazepam binding, with IC50-values in the micromolar range. All other derivatives, including harmine, harmaline, and several tetrahydroderivatives were at least ten times less potent.
