La distrofia muscular es una enfermedad que avanza muy rápida entre los 7 y los 12 años y poco común. Sus síntomas son la falta de movilidad en las extremidades y complicaciones a la hora de respirar. En este trabajo, a partir de la historia de vida de un adolescente con distrofia muscular de Duchenne, se pretende analizar cuáles son las dificultades que sufren los niños que la padecen en la escuela tanto a nivel material como a nivel de implicación y trabajo de los educadores. Esto ligado a una propuesta de con actividades que podrían realizar los maestros y maestras dentro de su aula con un alumnado con dicha enfermedad.

Background: We present a case of combined rupture of the right anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and patellar tendon (PT) in a 28-year-old professional handball player that was successfully treated by single-stage reconstructive surgery. The combined rupture of the ACL and PT is a rare injury pattern, and there are only a few cases reported in the literature. Our aim was to evaluate the effectiveness of dry needling (DN) combined with conventional physiotherapy in the recovery of patients with subacromial syndrome (SAS). A search was made of the main open access health science databases. The publication date was not limited for systematic reviews but was for randomized clinical trials (RCTs), which were limited to the last five years (from 2016) in English or in Spanish. Synovial cysts of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) are very rare, and to date, only 12 cases of a synovial cyst in the TMJ region have been reported in the literature. In this paper, we present the clinicopathological and immunohistochemical characteristics of one such lesion affecting a 48-year-old woman, presented with a mass in the left preauricular region. We describe the usefulness of immunohistochemical analysis for recognizing the synovial lining, which allowed for clear differentiation between ganglion and synovial cysts. Background: Sacroiliac (SI) joint pain conservative treatments show poor outcomes. Hypothesis: surgical treatment will show better results. Patients and methods: Prospective series: 24 patients undergoing SI fusion after failure of medical treatment and showing temporary relief with SI infiltration. Period: Nov 2009-July 2013. Gender: 9/15. 11 cases bilaterally (all ). Age: 32-71 years (mean 47.4 years). Height: 161-178 cm (mean 168.2 cm). Weight: 56-84 kg (mean 68.4 kg).
