Selection of potential probiotic lactobacilli from pig feces to be used as additives in pelleted feeding

Thirty-five isolates from pig feces were identified as Lactobacillus reuteri (12 strains), Lactobacillus mucosae (7), Lactobacillus plantarum (6), Lactobacillus kitasatonis (3), Lactobacillus rossiae (2), Lactobacillus ultunensis (2), Lactobacillus crispatus (2), and Lactobacillus intestinalis (1) by partial sequence analysis of the 16S rRNA. All isolates were detected at 8-9 log CFU g(-1). Preliminarily, strains were selected based on resistance to heat treatments (ca. 70 degrees C for 10 s). The decrease in viability for some L. reuteri, L. mucosae, L. plantarum, L. kitasatonis, and L. rossiae strains was lower than 1 log cycle. Šajā darbā masu apkalpošanas sistēmu tīkls tiek izmantots kā matemātiskais modelis piegādes ķēdes darbības analīzei. Tiek apskatīts veids kā izmantot masu apkalpošanas sistēmu tīklu gadījumā, kad tīklā ienākošo pieprasījumu plūsmu raksturo divi nepārtraukti gadījuma lielumi. Labākam kontekstam tiek aprakstīti masu apkalpošanas sistēmu un piegādes ķēžu teorētiskie pamati, kā arī raksturoti vaļēji un slēgti masu apkalpošanas sistēmu tīkli. The nutritional effects of sulla (Hedysarum coronarium L.) forage containing condensed tannins (CT) on growth of lambs, and carcass and meat quality were investigated. Thirty-two male Comisana lambs aged 100 ± 8 days weighing 19.0 ± 2.8 kg were fed fresh forage of sulla or CT-free annual ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum Lam. subsp. Wersterwoldicum) for 49 days until slaughter; in addition, each lamb was supplied with 200 g/days of concentrate. Eight lambs per diet had been previously treated with anthelmintic drugs to remove nematode parasites. Measurements of BW and feed intake, and counts of faecal nematode eggs were made. Cereal-based functional beverages represent social, economic, and environmental sustainable opportunities to cope with emerging trends in food consumption and global nutrition. Here we report, for the first time, the polyphasic characterization of three cereal-based kefir-like riboflavin-enriched beverages, obtained from oat, maize and barley flours, and their comparison with classical milk-based kefir. Through a special examination of some features of the text commonly referred to as Fragmentum Dositheanum, the author argues that, despite the reference in a paragraph to the knowledge of ‘regulae’, the classical jurisprudential work from which the fragment is taken was not a book of regulae, but an elementary work of a close scholastic nature; moreover, according to the author, this scholastic work might be Gaius’ Res cottidianae.
