Weed vegetation of cereal crops in Tajikistan (Pamir Alai Mts., Middle Asia)

The paper presents results of investigations of weed vegetation conducted in crop fields, in Tajikistan (Middle Asia) - one of the world cradles of the weed flora. The study has been based on 299 phytosociological relevés obtained in various geobotanical regions of the country in 2009-2012. In the examined vegetation patches 469 vascular plant species were noted. Many of the recorded species are widespread weeds. However, there were also some rare and endemics taxa (e.g. Prangos pabularia, P. saraw-schanica and Thlaspidium thlaspi) observed in the sample plots. Introduzione: Il presente lavoro indaga la qualità delle reazioni emotive e psicologiche delle pazienti affette da cancro mammario, sottoposte a intervento chirurgico e in diversi stadi di malattia. Metodologia: Il campione è composto da 110 pazienti così suddivise: 40 in follow-up, 41 sottoposte a chemioterapia adiuvante, 29 metastatiche. Strumenti: Defense Mechanisms Inventory (DMI, Ihilevich e Gleser, 1986), Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20, Taylor GJ,1992), EORTC QLQ-C30-BR23 (Fayers PM et al 1998). Mandibular metastasis from carcinoma of the bladder: Report of a case and literature review

Metastases represent about 1% of all malignant tumors of the oral region. Only 12 cases of metastases to the jawbones and 3 to the oral soft tissues from a carcinoma of the bladder are reported in the English literature. Here we report a case of an 86 year-old man with a metastasis to the anterior region of the lower jaw from a transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder treated 5 years before, all-together with a literature review.

Cemento-osseous dysplasias are a group of disorders known to originate from periodontal ligament tissues and involve, essentially, the same pathological process. They are usually classified, depending on their extent and radiographic appearances, into three main groups: periapical (surrounds the periapical region of teeth and are bilateral), florid (sclerotic symmetrical masses) and focal (single lesion) cemental dysplasias. Florid cemento-osseous dysplasia clearly appears to be a form of bone and cemental dysplasia that is limited to jaws. Kyselytutkimukseen perustuva artikkeli valottaa tilannetta populaarimusiikin toimijoiden osalta ja selvittää, millaisia kokemuksia kyselyyn vastanneilla oli sukupuolitetusta epäasiallisuudesta.
