We aim to provide an overview of epidemiology of asthma in the elderly, and a thorough description of its pathology and clinical presentation, with special emphasis on the distinction of late versus early-onset asthma. Previous studies suggest that MF Twisthaler® doses of 800 and 200 µg and MF Breezhaler® doses of 320 and 80 µg would elicit similar lung function effects, respectively.
