The introduction of this paper reviews the concept of the subject, which originated in classical antiquity and developed in Western culture up to the Enlightenment and Romanticism with the addition of new aspects but without questioning its foundation as a substantial Subject. Does being from a higher social class lead a person to engage in more or less prosocial behavior? Psychological research has recently provided support for a negative effect of social class on prosocial behavior. However, research outside the field of psychology has mainly found evidence for positive or u-shaped relations. In the present research, we therefore thoroughly examined the effect of social class on prosocial behavior. Growth Kinetics of Wetting Layers at Surfaces

Monte Carlo simulation of lattice gas models for the wetting transitions in systems with short range forces are described. A nearest-neighbor simple cubic lattice with nonconserved “Glauber dynamics” is used, applying a slab geometry (LxL cross section). It is shown that the growth proceeds in two stages: for short times t, the thickness of the wetting layer at an initially nonwet wall increases proportional to the logarithm of the time; for t » L2(lnL)2 the thickness increases proportional to t1/2/L.
