Quantum dynamics of the intensity-dependent Tavis-Cummings model

1999

An exactly solvable generalization of the intensity-dependent Jaynes-Cummings model to the case of N0 atoms is introduced together with its solution. The quantum dynamics of the model including the squeezing properties of the su(1,1) Perelomov and Glauber coherent states is investigated. The cases of one and two atoms present in the cavity are analysed in detail. These two cases are compared in the situation when the atomic subsystem is initially prepared in the ground state, the Dicke state and the state of thermal equilibrium.

Centrality-dependent forward J/ψ production in high energy proton-nucleus collisions

2016

Forward $J/\psi$ production and suppression in high energy proton-nucleus collisions can be an important probe of gluon saturation. In an earlier work we studied this process in the Color Glass Condensate framework and showed that using the Glauber approach to extrapolate the dipole cross section of a proton to a nucleus leads to results closer to experimental data than previous calculations in this framework. Here we investigate the centrality dependence of the nuclear suppression in this model and show a comparison of our results with recent LHC data.

Dieser Artikel stellt die Ergebnisse einer Rettungsgrabung (Inrap) vor, die in der Gemeinde Lavau im Departement Aube durchgeführt wurde. Zwei unterschiedliche Besiedlungen konnten klar identifi ziert werden : ein Teil eines Bauernhofs aus der späten Bronze-/ frühen Hallstattzeit sowie eine kleine Nekropole aus der Mittellatènezeit. Während der Bauernhof typisch für einen ländlichen Betrieb dieser Zeit ist, unterscheidet sich die Nekropole von dem, was man erwarten würde. Ihre Lage, ihre Organisation, sowie manche Bestattungsbräuche sind aussergewöhnlich.

Le sanctuaire laténien de Semoine, « Voie Palon » (Aube)

A rescue excavation in 2003 resulted in the discovery of a building on piles, constructed between two sections of ditch, of which the one on the north side has an entrance. The chronological data of the building and two ditches match and demonstrate the existence of cults during La Tène C2. Evidence of the cults is given by a small quantity of deliberately mutilated weapons, as has been found in other La Tène sanctuaries. Dating the creation of the enclosure is problematicaln but it probably derives from La Tène C1. Un projet immobilier de réhabilitation de l’îlot du prieuré Saint-Pierre (dépendance de l’abbaye Saint-Claude dans le Jura), accolé à l’église éponyme, au NO de la ville ancienne de Bar-sur-Aube, a entraîné la prescription d’un diagnostic archéologique sur les deux « cours » concernées par le projet et sur une analyse du potentiel archéologique conservé en élévation. Ce diagnostic a montré d’importants aménagements médiévaux encore conservés au sein du prieuré Saint-Pierre dont la création est antérieure au milieu du XIIe s., tant dans les élévations que dans les données stratigraphiques. Measurement of the low-energy antideuteron inelastic cross section

In this Letter, we report the first measurement of the inelastic cross section for antideuteron-nucleus interactions at low particle momenta, covering a range of $0.3 \leq p < 4$ GeV/$c$. The measurement is carried out using p-Pb collisions at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon-nucleon pair of $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 5.02 TeV, recorded with the ALICE detector at the CERN LHC and utilizing the detector material as an absorber for antideuterons and antiprotons. The extracted raw primary antiparticle-to-particle ratios are compared to the results from detailed ALICE simulations based on the GEANT4 toolkit for the propagation of antiparticles through the detector material. Blends using brabender farinograph and E6 Haubelt flourgraph

The aim of this work is to establish correlations between the values of the Brabender Farinograph and the E6 Haubert Flourgraph. We analyzed two types of flours, white flour with additives (WF add) and brown flour with additives (BF add). The following parameters were varied: water absorption capacity, development time, the stability, the degree of softening and the quality number of wheat and potato flour mixture. A statistical analysis was made from linear regression equations. The obtained values for the E6 Flourgraph are comparable with Farinograph values and units.
