Les recherches presentees mettent en evidence des relations entre anomalies comportementales et cognitives et dysfonctionnements cerebraux sous-jacents a partir de methodes d'exploration electrophysiologique non invasives (electroencephalogramme, potentiels evoques auditifs). Trois types de troubles sont etudies : les troubles du sommeil, l'intolerance au changement et l'exploration visuelle atypique des visages humains. La complementarite des approches cliniques et neurophysiologiques est cruciale aux etapes du diagnostic fonctionnel, de l'intervention therapeutique et educative.

To avoid collisions, pedestrians intending to cross a road need to accurately estimate the time-to-collision (TTC) of an approaching vehicle. For TTC estimation, auditory information can be considered particularly relevant when the approaching vehicle accelerates. The sound of vehicles with internal combustion engine (ICEVs) provides characteristic auditory information about the acceleration state (increasing speed and engine load). However, for electric vehicles (EVs), the acoustic signature during acceleration is less salient. Background: The round window membrane (RWM) acts like a barrier for topically applied substances into the middle ear preventing diffusion into the perilymphatic fluid compartment. Material and Method: In an animal model, modulation of the permeability of the RWM was attempted using Streptolysin-O (SLO) in various concentrations and sodium hyaluronate. Thereafter, the effect of intratympanically applied Lidocain 2% on hearing threshold measured by auditory brainstem response was tested for Lidocain 2 % and Lidocain 2 % in combination with SLO or sodium hyaluronate. El objetivo principal de esta tesis consiste en analizar la presencia de María Magdalena en las producciones audiovisuales del periodo comprendido entre 1897 y 2014. Dichas producciones proceden de Europa, Estados Unidos, Canadá y México. El marco metodológico general a partir del que se plantea el análisis es la iconología, entendida como Zwichenraum o tierra de confluencias. Audit and Earnings Management in Spanish SMEs

Abstract Evidence about the relation between earnings management and voluntary audits is scarce, and there is no research about the effectiveness of mandatory audits to improve earnings quality. Using a sample of Spanish SMEs, where some companies are mandatorily audited and some are exempt from audit, we examine if audits, either mandatory or voluntary, help to improve accounting quality by constraining earnings management. We also examine differences between voluntary and mandatory audits, as well as the role of Big 4 and Middle-Tier auditors.
