Incidentality on a continuum: A comparative conceptualization of incidental news consumption

This article seeks to contribute to theorizing the dynamics of incidental news consumption. Through an analysis of 200 semi-structured interviews with people in Argentina, Finland, Israel, Japan, and the United States, we show that intentionality in news consumption can be viewed on a continuum, which goes from deliberately setting apart time to access the news on specific outlets to skimming through unsought-for news on social and broadcast media, with intermediate practices such as respondents setting up an environment where they are more or less likely to encounter news. Recent advancements in information, communications, and mobile technologies have revolutionized banking and payment services as well as consumer behavior. This study examines the continuous usage experience of mobile financial services, and especially mobile banking services, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), the context of this study. TIIVISTELMÄ Eri potilasryhmien kuntoutuksessa käytetään laajalti vedessä tapahtuvaa harjoittelua, jolla on tutkimuksien mukaan fyysistä toimintakykyä parantava vaikutus. Reumaa sairastavien ihmisten fyysisen toimintakyvyn tukeminen on tärkeää ja vesivoimistelu on yksi tärkeimmistä hoitokeinoista. Viens no kardio-metabolo saslimšanu riska faktoriem ir paaugstināts svars, kas saistīts ar paaugstinātu tauku masu, īpaši abdominālajā apvidū. Metaboli nelabvēlīgas aptaukošanās vienkāršai un lētai diagnosticēšanai līdzās antropometriskajām metodēm, ienāk bioelektriskās impedances analīzes metodes, tomēr šo metožu precizitāte tiek pretrunīgi vērtēta. Characterizing the bacterial fish pathogen Flavobacterium columnare, and some factors affecting its pathogenicity

Flavobacterium columnare is a bacterial pathogen of fresh water fish causing lethal columnaris disease worldwide. At Finnish fish farms, columnaris disease has occurred since the early 1980s, and is a serious problem in salmonid farming in Finland. Currently, the only effective treatment is with antibiotics. Factors related to the pathogenicity of F. columnare, transmission of columnaris disease and the immunity of salmonids to columnaris infections are poorly known.
