Latvijā ražotu lūpu balzāmu mikrobioloģiskais novērtējums to lietošanas laikā

Maģistra darbs tika izstrādāts mikrobioloģijas testēšanas laboratorijā SIA “J.S. Hamilton Baltic”. Latvijā ražotiem un vienam importa lūpu balzāmam tika veikta mikrobioloģiskā testēšana to lietošanas laikā un nelietotam produktam, kā arī noteikta to antimikrobiālās aizsardzības efektivitāte. Tika izvēlēti deviņi ražotāji, no katra ražotāja apmēram 10 lūpu balzāmi, kuri tika lietoti trīs reizes dienā divas nedēļas. Kopumā tika notestēti 90 lūpu balzāmi. Katram lietotājam tika ņemti roku nomazgājumi, lai salīdzinātu mikroorganismu skaitu lūpu balzāmos ar cilvēka higiēnu. Mikroorganismu skaits lūpu balzāmos to lietošanas laikā variēja robežās no 800-9000 KVV/g, raugi un pelējumsēnes sastādīja …

Elementu identifikācijas metožu salīdzinājums farmaceitiskajos paraugos. Sleže V., zinātniskais vadītājs Mg. Chem. Bērtiņš M. Bakalaura darbs, 43 lappuses, 15 attēli, 12 tabulas, 31 literatūras avoti. Latviešu valodā. Organisko vielu sintēzēs tai starpā farmaceitisko preparātu ražošanā nereti tiek izmantoti katalizatori, lai ražošanas process notiktu ātrāk. Katalizatoru atliekas galaproduktā nav vēlamas, it īpaši farmaceitiskajos preparātos, kuri tiek lietoti cilvēku uzturā. Ir noteiktas direktīvas, kuras ierobežo katalizatoru maksimālās devas farmaceitiskajos preparātos. Tāpēc ir sastādītas ķīmiski analītiskās metodes, kuras spēj noteikt, cik daudz ir palikuši katalizatoru atlikumi.

Darbā tiek veikta sojas un pupu paraugu sagatavošana un analīze. Makro un mikroelementu koncentrācijas noteikšana tika veikta, izmantojot induktīvi saistītas plazmas masspektrometru. Paraugu sagatavošanai izmantoja slapjo mikroviļņu mineralizāciju.
Anhydrobiosis of yeast: changes of cell surface structures and non-conventional applications of anhydrobiosis

Darba mērķis bija veikt pētījumus par anhidrobiozi jaunu teorētisku faktu atklāšanai un plašināt raugu anhidrobiozes praktisku izmantošanu. Atklāta atsevišķu šūnas sieniņas proteīnu un citoplazmatiskās membrānas transportieru nozīmīga loma raugu dzīvotspējas saglabāšanā anhidrobiozes stāvoklī. Parādīts, ka citoplazmatiskās membrānas transportiera Agt1 izmaiņas dehidratācijas/rehidratācijas laikā ir raugu celmu specifiskās. Izstrādāta jauna mikroorganismu immobilizācijas metode. Parādīta iegūto immobilizēto preparātu efektīvā izmantošana etanola ražošanā un notekūdeņu attīrīšanā, ka arī konstatēta šo preparātu augsta stabilitāte. Update of the search for charginos nearly mass-degenerate with the lightest neutralino

The data collected by DELPHI in 1998 at the centre-of-mass energy of 189 GeV have been used to update the search for charginos nearly mass-degenerate with the lightest supersymmetric particle, which is assumed to be the lightest neutralino. Mass differences below \Delta M = 3 GeV/c^2 are considered. No excess of events with respect to the Standard Model expectation has been observed, and exclusions in the plane of \Delta M versus chargino mass are given. The new \Delta M independent lower limit on the mass of the chargino is 62.4 GeV/c^2 in the higgsino scenario (which includes the gaugino mass unification scenario), if all sfermions are heavier than the lightest chargino. We analyzed 0.38fb-1 of integrated luminosity collected between April 2002 and August 2004 with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. The observed number of events is in agreement with the standard model expectation, and we calculate 95% C.L. limits on the slepton production cross section times branching fraction to gaugino plus muon, as a function of slepton and gaugino masses. Search for Supersymmetric Particles in e+e- Collisions at sqrt(s) up to 202GeV and Mass Limit for the Lightest Neutralino

Searches for pair production of squarks, sleptons, charginos, and neutralinos are performed with the data collected by the ALEPH detector at LEP at centre-of-mass energies from 188.6 to 201.6 GeV. No evidence for any such signals is observed in a total integrated luminosity of about 410pb-1. The negative results of the searches are translated into exclusion domains in the space of the relevant MSSM parameters, which improve significantly on the constraints set previously. Under the assumptions of gaugino and sfermion mass unification, these results allow a 95% C.L. lower limit of 37GeV/c2 to be set on the mass of the lightest neutralino for any tan beta and sfermion mass. Absolute mass lower limit for the lightest neutralino of the MSSM from $e^{+}e^{-}$ data at $\sqrt{s}$ up to 209 GeV

Charginos and neutralinos are searched for in the data collected by the ALEPH experiment at LEP for centre-of-mass energies up to 209 GeV. The negative result of these searches is combined with those from searches for sleptons and Higgs bosons to derive an absolute lower limit of 43.1 GeV/c(2) on the mass of the lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP), assumed to be the,lightest neutralino. This limit is obtained in the framework of the MSSM with R-parity conservation and with gaugino and sfermion mass unification at the GUT scale and assuming no mixing in the stau sector. A search for gaugino pair production with a trilepton signature in the framework of R-parity violating supersymmetry via the couplings lambda_121, lambda_122, or lambda_133 is presented. The data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of L~360/pb, were collected from April 2002 to August 2004 with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider, at a center-of-mass energy of sqrt(s)=1.96 TeV. This analysis considers final states with three charged leptons with the flavor combinations eel, mumul, and eetau (l=e or mu). No evidence for supersymmetry is found and limits at the 95% confidence level are set on the gaugino pair production cross section and lower bounds on the masses of the …
