Existe una importante prevalencia de sintomatología depresiva en la población de la tercera edad. Sin embargo, pocas personas mayores reciben tratamiento adecuados para este tipo de dolencias. W artykule podjęto próbę rozpoznania strategii autobiograficznych prezentacji obecnych w twórczości Juliana Kornhausera. Autor stara się opisać fragmenty biografii autora Origami, skupiając się na charakterystycznych dla poety sposobach dyskretnego mówienia o sobie (dystans narracyjny, rozdźwięk pomiędzy narratorem a bohaterem, ukrywanie zarówno postaci bohatera, jak i rzeczywistych osób pod zasłoną inicjału). Pētījuma „Autobiogrāfisko atmiņu par laulību dzimumatšķirības pēc laulības šķiršanas” mērķis bija izpētīt autobiogrāfiskās atmiņas sievietēm un vīriešiem pēc laulības šķiršanas un atklāt, vai pastāv būtiskas atšķirības starp autobiogrāfiskajām atmiľām sievietēm un vīriešiem. Pētījumā piedalījās 60 respondenti, 30 sievietes un 30 vīrieši, kuriem ir šķirta laulība ar Latvijas Civillikuma Ģimenes tiesību daļas noteikumiem vai kuri ir laulības šķiršanas procesā, vecumā no 30 līdz 45 gadiem (M=38,13; SD= 4,47). External cognition concerns knowledge that is embedded in our everyday lives and environment. One type of knowledge is memories, recollections of events that occurred in the past. So how do we remember them? One way this can be done is through cuing and reconstructing. These cues can be internal, in our minds, or in our everyday environment. In this paper we look at memory cues in our environment by comparing the effect of cue modality (odor, physical artifact, photo, sound, and video) on the number of memory details people had from a unique one-day real-life event. Autobiographical memory and the self in a single-case of chronic unilateral spatial neglect

International audience; Unilateral spatial neglect (USN) is mainly defined as a condition affecting perception and the mental representation of the environment. However, nothing is known about its impact on the ability to mentally represent one's past and on personal identity. We addressed these questions in a case of chronic USN, DR, a 59-year-old right-handed woman, who underwent a variety of measures exploring the self and autobiographical memory (AM). DR showed preserved self-images and her AM performance was only preserved when memories were prompted by her own self-images and not by self-unrelated cues. Our findings are discussed in light of the interconnection between the self and AM.
Theatricalization of self : personal blogs as theatre performance

The aim of this thesis is to compare personal blogs and theatre art. The study is conducted as theoretical discourse and focuses on comparison of personal blogs with a subgenre of theatre art, performance art. Using actual selected examples from theatre art as well as from personal blogs, the study aims to outline the similarities, which personal blogs share with theatre performance. The theoretical framework of the thesis suggests that personal blogs with their nature of the observed subject, the blogger, and the observer, the reader, produce one of the basic elements of theatre art, theatricality. Spontaneous Music-Evoked Autobiographical Memories in Individuals Experiencing Depression

Listening to music often triggers strong memories of events from our past, which influence how we affectively experience music listening and can therefore contribute to music’s therapeutic capacity. The aim of this study was to examine the valence and content of spontaneous music-evoked autobiographical memories (MEAMs) in listeners with self-reported depression, who typically demonstrate negatively biased autobiographical memory.
