We used a non-intrusive method (13CO2 feeding) and a manipulative approach to see whether fruiting shoots in peach trees are autonomous or may import carbon from neighboring shoots under forced conditions, and whether the degree of autonomy is influenced by the source-sink relationship on the shoot. Abstract Literature on ambidexterity emphasizes the need for both exploration and exploitation. Large firms usually choose to implement structural ambidexterity to separate both activities. We here focus on an extreme case of such structural partitioning implemented as a secret skunkworks project in a large French automotive company. Using social media and other Internet-based sources could distract students from decent academic learning and lead to negative learning, and self-control is required to foster self-regulated learning. Self-control involves the trait-like capacity for self-control and the state-like level of self-control strength, which could be used for performing self-control tasks.
