Synthesis, Structure and Antimicrobial Activity of New Co(II) Complex with bis-Morpholino/Benzoimidazole-s-Triazine Ligand

2023

A new Co(II) perchlorate complex of the bis-morpholino/benzoimidazole-s-triazine ligand, 4,4′-(6-(1H-benzo[d]imidazol-1-yl)-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diyl)dimorpholine (BMBIT), was synthesized and characterized. The structure of the new Co(II) complex was approved to be [Co(BMBIT)2(H2O)4](ClO4)2*H2O using single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The Co(II) complex was found crystallized in the monoclinic crystal system and P21/c space group. The unit cell parameters are a = 22.21971(11) Å, b = 8.86743(4) Å, c = 24.38673(12) Å and β = 113.4401(6)°. This heteroleptic complex has distorted octahedral coordination geometry with two monodenatate BMBIT ligand units via the benzoimidazole N-atom and four water …

Crystal structure of zwitterionic 3-(2-hydroxy-2-phosphonato-2-phosphonoethyl)imidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-1-ium monohydrate (minodronic acid monohydrate): …

2014

A redetermination of the crystal structure of minodronic acid monohydrate was carried out in order to provide accurate atomic coordinates and geometry information, whose knowledge is fundamental to elucidate the presumed polymorphism of the compound at room temperature.

Effect of buffer nature and concentration on the chromatographic performance of basic compounds in the absence and presence of 1-hexyl-3-methylimidaz…

2019

Abstract In reversed-phase liquid chromatography, the performance for basic compounds is affected by the interaction of the protonated (cationic) species with the anionic free silanols on the alkyl-bonded stationary phases. Using aqueous-organic mobile phases in the absence of additives, the retention may be too high, and the peaks be broad and asymmetric. The performance is improved by addition to the mobile phase of ionic liquids, from which 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([C6MIm][Cl]) has especially good characteristics. A recent report has also revealed that the use of the phosphate system as buffer, at varying concentration and pH, may have a significant role in the chromatograph…

The clomethiazole acute stroke study (CLASS): Safety results in 1,356 patients with acute hemispheric stroke.

2000

The Clomethiazole Acute Stroke Study (CLASS) showed no difference in outcome between patients treated with clomethiazole or placebo for all patients treated, but a beneficial effect in patients classified as a total anterior circulation syndrome (TACS). These are patients with clinical symptoms of a large stroke. Safety and tolerability data are reported here with emphasis on the safety of treating stroke patients with a sedative drug. In total, 1,356 patients were eligible for safety analysis. Mortality at 90 days was equal between the treatment groups (clomethiazole, 19.5%; placebo, 19.7%). Clomethiazole was generally well-tolerated. The most common adverse event was sedation (clomethiazo…
