In our work "Towards next generation diagnostics for tuberculosis: identification of novel molecular targets by large-scale comparative genomics" (https://doi.org/10.1101/569384 ). We look for M. tuberculosis genes that are not present in organisms other tan MTBC. This database corresponds with the described database of 4,277 NTM assemblies.

OBJECTIVES: Odontoma is the most common among odontogenic tumors, representing 22- 23.9% of them. Impaction, aplasia, malformation, malpositioning, and devitalization of adjacent teeth are associated with 50-70% of odontomas. Two types of odontoma are distinguished, compound and complex. The typical features of compound odontoma are separate, rudimentary, closely positioned toothlike structures . When such buds form an amorphous and irregular conglomerate of dental tissue without a clear division, they are classified as complex odontoma. Pattern formation driven by cross-diffusion

In this work we are interested in describing the mechanism of pattern formation for a reaction-diffusion system with nonlinear diffusion terms (which take into account the self and the cross-diffusion effects). The reaction terms are chosen of the Lotka-Volterra type in the competitive interaction case. The cross-diffusion is proved to be the key mechanism of pattern formation via a linear stability analysis. A weakly nonlinear multiple scales analysis is carried out to predict the amplitude and the form of the pattern close to the bifurcation threshold.
